Do you have an X or Youtube channel with 500k+ followers? If so you should have it in a week as predicted, if not......."Soon" (July)
I am not an influencer, except at Christmas, and we were blessed with the upgrade early this morning.

One issue I didn’t notice before is it keeps trying to use the express lane even though I have the setting off in navigation. At least in hurry mode

Curious, when exactly is the last time you got one on your MS and what hardware are you on? Our 2020 MY got its most recent update about a month ago. Wondering what the experience is like on a nearly 10 year-old Tesla ‘cause I’m gonna have some soon enough.

I still love driving my traditional suspension 17MS. It’s my favorite to drive still. The “latency” is concerning to me. My “retrofitted” HW3 on HW2 MS will drive through red lights, change lanes without a turn signal, and make turns while navigation says to go straight.

However, the non-FSD driving of the MS is still awesome. If you enjoy your MY now, you’ll still love it at 10 years. After 140k miles, I believe I’ve spent less than $6k on fixes. With the majority of that ~$4k in repairing the sunroof after 120k miles. Everything else has been normal wear and tear repairs.

The lasts “software” update was a few weeks ago. I do still experience changes in behavior of the vehicle. (2026.8.3)

It’s funny that FSD on my 17MS creeps forward after a few seconds at the stop light, just like how I drive. Where my 24CT won’t. The CT patiently waits where my 17MS is inching to go. . Just like me. Ha It might also speak to why FSD on the 17MS makes turns against the direction of navigation… just like I drive (non-FSD) where I want even when I have navigation set. Ha

I hope that gives you the feedback you’re asking for.

I see about 2 updates a year on my 2014 Model S. Usually not new features, I assume just security updates.

Thank you very kindly for the reply. Our model Y is basically my mother-in-law‘s daily driver now. I was particularly interested in how an older vehicle like yours would get updates even with HW3 which I’m glad you have the retrofit after for example they’ve moved on and abandoned the portrait screen. For example our HW3 model Y is on build 2026.2.9.3 and FSD v14.2.2.5. Are you on the same?

Thanks for that! Is it safe to assume you’re on HW2?

The 17MS is still on FSD 12.6.4
But I don’t believe it can handle much more since it already has latency.
