What going on with the latest FSD update? It’s been slamming on the brakes for no apparent reason, going the wrong way in my driveway, constantly nagging for me to look at the road —even when I am not distracted, and just gave me a strike out without any warning (my first ever) while I was driving down a residential road at 25mph looking straight out the windshield on a clear sunny day at 1 PM. Anyone else having these bugs?

As we slowed in traffic, mine tapped the brakes a little. Then, again. and again. and again. I have no idea what it was seeing to make it do that. It's never done that before. It wasn't head snapping deceleration, just odd.

Right. Also -
*FSD speed profiles are noticeably less predictable and less consistent.
*Posted speed limit signs are ignored even more.
*It stomps brakes for every bird flying nearby. FSD hardly ever did that before.
*It weaves to and fro in the driving lane when there are repair markings in the road (tar strips, pot hole patch, etc.). FSD didn’t do that nearly as much before.
* I never know which route it’s actually going to take because it too-often decides to ignore the routing on the navigation-display… which is embarrassing when I’m showing a friend how amazing it is!
I know I’m spoiled rotten from using FSD 98% of my driving time. As much as the Cybertruck is the best driving vehicle I’ve ever owned, I would rather let it do the driving for me. And FSD is so amazing and reliable, but this latest iteration was not an upgrade. [Tesla: Feedback submitted.]

Other than the “gap” I now notice that is there between the Standard (too slow) and Hurry (too aggressive) profiles I have not experienced the other issues described. FSD works great, I only need now too much toggling the profile to not be a nuisance on the road, both on the freeway and local roads.

Unfair! Now I feel like it’s just picking on me.
If it is falsely detecting lack of attention, either you have a weird face, are wearing a funny hat, or have a problem with the internal camera. You should check the Camera Preview and ensure they all look good.

If you're also having excessive phantom braking events and/or add behaviors, maybe you need a full DAS reset.

Have seen some of that myself, the critter brake slam is out of control.
Was hoping this FSD update would be a good jump forward, but more of a lateral stumble really.
Hopefully the next is better and is out "soon"

Yep. Same experiences here. Hopefully the now rolling out FSD 14.3.4 will alleviate some of these issues. But, I still think that some people that are working on the FSD project do not want it to succeed; dare I say Industrial sabotage 🤔

Same experience in Juniper Model Y. Spilled coffee all over myself and the cabin within the first 10 miles of the update. Happened three more times within 50 miles of driving to the point where we're not using it until it's updated. In general, the car just feels super twitchy and nervous. Would have though Tesla's testing protocols prevent releasing such prolific and frankly unsafe regression like this. Having trust in the system is a big part of using FSD and mine is definitely shaken.
