Shortly after getting the 2025 Holiday Update I have lost parking features, FSD and automatic emergency braking. The service menu shows APP_w137_rPillarCamInitFault the right side pillar cam won't initialize and I can confirm this as I cannot select it from the live view when the car is in sentry mode.

It's possible that this is a hardware fault but the timing is suspect. I have service scheduled but interested if anyone has ideas on how to force another update, etc. and try to recover it without bringing the truck in for the fifth time this year for another stint at Tesla service.

Nah, it seems to be affecting trucks with 3rd party accessories tapped into the power feed either in the frunk or in the passenger footwell. You can disconnect whatever accessory you have tied in and those features will return. I just removed the inline wiring harness behind the trim/carpet in the passenger footwell. I can always reconnect it after the next update and see if it plays nice again.

Also, Service won't be able to do anything with it. They'll push a new firmware update but it won't do anything. Just need to disconnect the accessory and you'll be good.

Assume you've already rebooted with the scroll wheels, sounds like a camera failing on you.....

Rebooting with the scroll wheels does not solve this. The inline accessory is somehow interfering with the occupancy detection environment so FSD won't engage.

Other members are reporting this and have identified it as being aftermarket device interference - it apparently can be causes by a light bar, camera mirror, or possibly an added dash LED strip. The problem was identified and solved by adding and removing the device multiple times, proving the source in that case. Have you added anything into the right-side wiring harness?

I do not have any accessories plugged in.

Yes I've done both the "soft" and "hard" reboots

my friend who also has a beast said the holiday update bricked his truck, it was towed away to service.

Well, it's drivable. I went into the service menu and one of the cams will not initialize, even when I do a reboot. Service says I must come in with it so I assume they'll just replace that camera and test the cable.

So I had the same issue with my foundation truck after the holiday update. I had FSD option on my screen, but the SELF DRIVING button was not lit up. It was greyed out. I do have a 3rd party light bar using the Frunk's power. But I just went and rebooted my truck with the 2 buttons on the steering wheel and went into the SERVICE option and did the camera calibration. Once I did that, I let it sit for about 5 minutes and drove about 5 miles, and the cameras reconfigured, and my FSD is back. I drove it for about one mile on streets and the rest on the freeway, as it appears that the most efficient way to calibrate cameras is on a straightaway with multiple lanes ( with clearly painted dividing lines)

I just wanted to update this thread in case others run into my issue. As previously reported one of my pillar cams was "dead" shortly after holiday update. Tesla local SC insisted I had to bring the truck in so they could diagnose the issue.

A few days before the appointment I had a newer firmware pushed and the problem went away and has been permanently resolved as far as I can tell.

So reboots didn't fix it, but a firmware update did.
