Got mine around 4pm today. After work, we decided to drive to Lake Michigan, about an hour away. It was a bit shakey at first, particularly at the first stop sign where it braked a bit too hard. Down the highway, it stayed in the far left lane, which was about to run out and merge with the center lane. Instead of using the blinker, it just let the lane run out, and slowly moved over to the right. Halfway to our destination, there was an error message on the screen, and an alarm. The steering wheel on the screen turned red, and FSD shut down and warned me to take over the wheel, which I did. Not sure what happened, but I think that area has really poor cellular service.

On our way back home, I engaged it again, and it drove the entire way home, first to a Supercharger near my home, about 55 miles in total, about 1/4 of the way on country roads, and the rest highway driving. There were some tricky situations, but it navigated them perfectly. It liked to stay to the right, but there was one time where a car was merging onto the highway on the right, but the truck couldn't move left due to the traffic. It simply went a bit faster than the merging car. At one point I hung my head down, as if I was falling asleep. After about 5 seconds it didn't make any warning sound, so that was a miss. It did negotiate some pretty tricky maneuvers along the way, including on my street, where 6 deer were about to cross over in front of the truck. One did, and it slowed down for it, but slowly passed the rest of the deer.

Overall, I give it an A-. I would have taken more photos – ones that were not blurry – but it warned me when I took a photo. It knew I wasn't paying attention to the road. This is game-changing technology! (Photo of the beach we visited because it was so beautiful).

Anyway to ping the software update before 24hrs? Mine won’t refresh until 7:30 pst
Fwiw, mine had checked for software at 7:30 this am but still downloaded at 3pm. I don't think it just waits 24 hrs to check for updates. Same thing happened with auto park update.

I believe it is pushed and not pulled. TeslaFi keeps a close eye on it and sends me an email long before the app says anything. I have already received an alert that it is out there but it has yet to be pushed my way.
