I've been testing the latest FSD too, both city and rural. Same problems with crowding left.

The placement of the front camera is offset to the passenger side (right/starboard) instead of on center.

Could that cause a problem? The field of view would be slightly different side to side when making turns.

The camera is about 7.5” off center. That seems to be about the same amount it tries to stay left.

I haven’t noticed any problems with right turns or being too far right.

For whatever reason, my CT has stopped hugging the left side - I just noticed it yesterday. I've been using it quite a bit, especially when I have passengers because at least it will react if I'm distracted momentarily. At intersections, I still get nervous but it is doing good. However with left turns it's still going very very close to the curb or vehicle sitting at light. So if I'm taking a left, I'm much more alert to take over. Otherwise, I do think it is improving. Unlike MY, I did notice the wiper hasn't turning on unnecessarily when in FSD mode especially in the rain.

I think maybe two cameras in the front on the corners are needed for better accuracy.

I have noticed the same thing, and maybe it relates to something bigger... FSD always used to be that nothing would change significantly until there was a new update. Now, FSD seems to learn and modify behavior between updates. Although, it's not 100%... e.g. there is a left turn I drive 2x a day and it always turned into the oncoming lane, and I would correct it, upload audio "wrong lane". But then a few days ago, after dozens of failed attempts in a row, it turned perfectly into the correct lane! Since then, it's about 50/50 whether it makes it, but definitely an improvement. Since v6 it seems like there has been almost as much going backwards as progress with each update, and now it feels like it's actually trying to get better. Can't wait for v13!!!

I’m a little confused why Cybertruck can’t use the same data and account for different dimensions/ camera distances
And that is the problem: you don’t understand how ML works or how different the Cybertruck is from other Teslas. As someone else pointed out, it is going to take a minute.

There are some very critical differences between my Model S and Cybertruck and I think we are very likely seeing the same thing.

1. Cybertruck hugs the left lane line more than it should.
2. When passing a semi the Cybertruck likes to hang left too hard.
1. YES!
2. HELL YES!!!!!!

Also, when the speed changes down..... zero issues.

When the speed changes up, doesn't do a thing. Sigh!

I would say a 25% miss rate on getting off the high way. The navigation screen is correct, but left to it's own devices, the CT will 25% of the time just keep driving down the highway. Need to stay alert.

Yes, Cybertruck FSD is not as well "trained" yet. It's looking like we'll be seeing some major updates between now and thanksgiving. We shall see.
I can't wait for it to work even better because it works amazingly well on my CT. It's so good that I could go to a bar, get drunk, and have a couple of cups of coffee to be a wide-awake drunk so I could keep my eyes open for the FSD camera. It would drive me home and into my side driveway 60 feet up to my garage. I could then fall alseep in the CT listening to the stereo. I don't drink, so I wouldn't try it, but I have full confidence it would be fine.

Elon: "We never taught it what a car was, or what a person was, or a bicyclist"

That actually was extremely interesting. I haven't seen that interview yet; thanks for sending that one to me. Very cool stuff (though I already knew most of it).

My CT fails to maintain the set speed when is FSD mode. Drives me nuts! I always have to disengage and send a little message to them. Hope they are listening. Also it’s always changing lanes

Big Red keeps wanting to keep left on a left turn crossing into the cross traffic lanes left turn lane. Even if a car is there. My latest experience was that Big Red wanted to blow through a red light. I applied the breaks and stopped easily before the white line. It was in a suburb where there is no tolerance for violations and there was plenty of time to stop. I have had big red stop abruptly at a light. I don’t l Know why it wanted to blow this light. We need to get this hugging to the left issue resolved. I also agree in a lower speed zone it slows down but Big Red doesn’t accelerate when a higher speed zone come active or as we would accelerate
