I was initially very unhappy when I heard this information. I think the delay, though, is due to the highway/city merge. They have been testing the Cybertruck with FSD on city streets for a month, but since FSD has not merged city and highway driving, and Tesla is not going to make the Cybertruck work with the old highway system, we have to wait. I am just as disappointed as everyone else. I have had my truck since March and have been following every update and shred of information since May.

Side note: parallel parking with 4 wheel steering is incredibly easy. Fantastic.

FSD will come when it’s safe. My original 2016 S only had the basic autopilot features. FSD wasn’t even an option for years… it’ll come and it will likely be great.

Now what is really like is the damn roof rack… need those before ski season.
One thing i haven't figured out with parallel parking is that once i get the back wheel close to the curb, and then turn the streering wheel all the way to get the front in, the back wheels steer further away from the curb. The back of the car ends up being further away from the curb than the front.

Its almost as if I need to get the back wheels on the curb before trying to get the front into the parking spot in order to end up with the front and back equally close to the curb.

Parking would be easy of you could trust the lines on the display, but you CAN NOT.
Wait, I specifically looked to see if it showed lines on the display visualization last night and there were none. Is it only under certain circumstances or something?
I could always back right into spots perfectly with my F150 FX4, but something about the rear steer on the beast confuses my muscle memory and I always end up parking cockeyed - usually the front is too far in one direction or the other. Only gets worse when I think about it.

Is the rear turning physically based or do you think in the future it’s something that you could toggle on and off?

I’d say keep the features coming Tesla.

I am ok parking the CT especially after my trip to Montréal. But would definite like the proximity heat map that my wife has on her ModelY.

FSD would of course be really awesome.

I ALMOST WRECK MY TRUCK EVERYDAY I NEED THE LANE ASSIST TO BE TURNED ON TOMORROW
Sounds like you need driving school more than lane assist.

I am getting better and better at parking the CT, I back in with that bad boy and have nailed it several times now.

Distance measuring is so easy with the CT, follow the line of the back bumper. Stop just before its at the area of contact = all good!

Its the 4 wheel turning that makes the CT parking "interesting". It simply doesn't react like a truck. haha!

Again, it has said this since the first 12.5 release. These release notes are for the broad release and list upcoming improvements for that release, that could take quite a long time.
Yup, but keeping my eye on it. As others have stated, I have and can live without FSD but would like Auto Pilot with all the bells, whistles and alarms. Simple stuff like my wife’s 2014 Grand Cherokee has.

I wonder what exactly do they mean by Park Assist? It’s our first Tesla.
Does that mean you identify the space and it parks it for you? Or you drive and it identifies a space (our Volvo did that sort of; but in my opinion it didn’t work all that well, and took way too long) and tells you to put it in a particular gear and keep your foot on the brake or gas when it tells you?
It means alerts about how close you are to hitting something. It's not automatic parking. It looks like this below:
