Welp....it is Friday and I have not gotten any updates yet. I parked close the house to make sure I get a fast update but I am still waiting.
Has anyone gotten the update or notice of update?
Don't hold your breath, 2024.26.20 rolling out this morning, no change for CT:

Per Ashok Elluswamy, an Autopilot / AI engineer at Tesla.

"Cybertruck will start with parking assistance features, given that it ain't exactly the easiest vehicle to park. Initial release is slated for end of this week. FSD for Cybertruck expected in Sep."

I split my driving between y and ct. ct is easier to park.

Yeah, the CT is way easier than either the 3 or the Y.
Current iteration of FSD's auto park is very good, but I just want FSD dammit

As an owner of both I am not sure I would agree with that, then again my MYLR had USS but no way is it harder to park than the CT and I am getting real good and backing into parking spaces.

I highly doubt October. I’m still thinking Dec 2024 at the earliest.
i have quit trying to debug Elon Standard Time after 10 years. If I were forced to guess, I would look to the timing of earnings release, major holidays, or when something bad about Tesla is in the news. If as rumored Elon has to sell stock to service X debt, another time would be ahead of that sale to boost CT sales. This release is too ballyhooed and anticipated to just toss out there without needing a positive news bump and no way Mr. Spectacle would waste a good news bump. I am willing to wager exactly $1 on my prediction, but I may want odds in my favor first!

In spite of the fact that I only have 2" clearance at the back while parked and less than 2" clearance (auto-folded mirror) at the garage door frame when backing in, this is still much easier than X.

My Y also has USS, which is nice to have for a car with craptastic cameras. The CT's cameras are literally night and day different from the Y w/USS. When parking at night, the Y screen image is basically useless, and that's where the USS / FSD Park Assist comes in handy. I can park the CT in the exact same situation with out any issue whatsoever.

The CT is pretty easy to park considering the size, but Tesla Vision is still pretty nice. It's the closest thing we're likely to get to a top-down camera view and the proximity alerts will probably be helpful for those that are struggling with spacial awareness using the fisheye camera views.

I think I do agree that the CT is easier, back in, front-in and even parallel, EXCEPT when the space is simply too small. Hard to decide, tonight I almost skipped a parallel-park space but tried and it turned out to be easy and in one motion. Other car is an X.

Wait who's struggling to park this truck? ? Like if you've never driven a truck in your entire life. Maybe. But it's infinitely easier than most vehicles due to the insane turn radius.

The problem is that I HAVE driven other trucks for a very long time. This one is not like those.

Well to be fair, Elon is the eternal optimist on timelines, but the team like Ashok is probably giving you a more realistic timeline… you are new to the forum I see, just remember, their goal is safety MORE THAN LITERALLY ANYTHING, so if they thought they could get it out but it wasn’t as safe as they want it, they won’t release it. Of course we all want it, but the truck is so dang fun to drive, why rush haha
People are so spoiled we are lucky to have Someone as innovative as him to make these products for us.Or who else will. Everyone scared to do something new, bold
This cat gave us the fastest production car and truck for the best price. Stop crying like little bitches if you didn't know you bought a Beta product then you just stupid and should go sit in the corner on time out

No point listening to any of these people on Twitter, the timelines are never correct.
