I don't know what to say about this version yet. So far I have only done a few miles, but it seems less smooth than 13. I drive a lot of back country roads so I cant say anything for city driving yet. With 14 I am feeling a slight back and fourth(left and right) while driving. I am getting A LOT of dry wipes now(I have done the camera/windshield cleaning). On one intersection for right on red it stopped then proceeded to turn right but halfway in it hit the brakes for a sec as if it was unsure(it was clear to go). Going to test some more, curious if other are experiencing what I have been getting so far.

Updated this morning and took my first drive to my daughter’s school. Absolutely what I expected FSD to be in the Cybertruck. It’s amazing!

the drive consists of a lot of different “obstacles”.

- (1) unprotected left turn from my very rural (no painted lines) street on to a (4) lane divided highway.
- (2) traffic circles
- (1) unprotected left on to the street the school is on.
- Also used start from park after dropping her off so it re did everything above in reverse order.

I’d say it’s very near perfect. No more drifting to the left or hugging the left and it’s extremely confident with everything.

My only gripe was with dry wipes from the wiper. Just last week I had the SC clean my camera housing and visibly it’s very clean. I’m not sure just how unified the cameras are but in the viewing area of my front bumper camera you can see my license plate because it is slightly warped.

Is it possible that FSD has unified the cameras to a point where it is thinking my slightly warped license plate is debris in it’s vision so it is using the wiper to attempt to clean it?

Otherwise, hats off to the Tesla AI team for working extremely hard on delivering FSD 14 to us CT owners. They 100% knocked it out of the park!

Got it this morning.

I'm not thrilled that I can't dial in Max Speed anymore, but I'll see how it does.

Honestly, I was thinking this too. Here is my experience while driving to my daughter’s school on the highway and switching the profiles.

Speed Limit — 60MPH

Sloth - 60 - mainly used this and can attest that it 100% will go the speed limit. Also does not mind switching lanes to pass someone going way under the limit.

Chill - 62
Standard -65
Hurry - 68

I didn’t use mad max but from what I’ve seen, it doesn’t care about the limit at all. lol.

I really thought I’d miss the adjustable speed too but honestly I’d rather fiddle with these profiles and understanding what they each do as opposed to messing around with the max speed. It’s very different from FSD 13. Much more confident and didn’t feel the need to adjust the speed at all.

The profiles work great when it knows the Speed Limit. In my neighborhood it thinks the limit is 30 when it's 20, most go 15. Unfortunately, I won't be able to use it in there.

I have noticed the sign recognition is much quicker/better in V14. There was a temp speed today of 45 in a 70 and it saw and reacted immediately.
