Love the song choice, used it for testing the speakers when I first took test drives in the Y/3/CT.

Unrelated, is this what light mode looks like?? I always have dark mode so this looks alien to me. Looks airy and nice 🙂
I guess??

Did my first drive with this version. Nice thing is that it backs out of my garage, although scaringly fast. Huge negative, it is unable to drive me home. I live in a gated community, now it does not drive me to the front gate or get me to the front of my house. It detours and tried to cut through a church parking lot to drive me to the back of my house which is surrounded by a wall that has no access to my house. Huge fail there!

Well I had high hopes for this update, but I am wishing I could go back to 13. Brake stabbing, lane wandering, just to name a couple things. I realize they will improve the software over time, but not too confidence inspiring at this time.
Clean your cameras.

Hello,
I just updated today. Went to test it and at every full stop (Traffic light or Stop sign) the truck hesitated to start. Start, stop, start, stop, start. The streets were empty, no traffic at all. Sent report.

On another note. Tested on Sloth mode. The truck adhered to the posted speed, but read the school zones at 20 mph and adjusted accordingly, the only thing is that it was not during school time. It is okay; but this brought me to use the right button on the steering wheel to adjust the miles, but as it clearly stated, it changes from sloth to chill, standard and so on. I miss the functionality of adjusting one or five miles at a time.

Keep testing.

Regards,

On my first drive it was intuitive and smooth except for a few examples of tapping the brakes for shadows & leaves, red steering wheel takeover for who knows why and once as it was in the middle of an intersection turning left and hit the brakes for some unknown reason. I had to hit the accelerator to accommodate the car behind me.

It took me all the way to the front of my garage, past some challenging driveway scenarios that version 13 could not negotiate. I have a two-car garage and it chose to back up to the second garage door that was closed rather than attempting to park in the open garage door. So there's room for improvement but overall I can perceive the enhancements.

Just got it and I’m incredibly impressed. It navigated out of my work’s underground garage, took a wrong turn(the first turn has no exit arrow) then ended up back there, turned the other direction, navigated around construction cones and the valet parking mess, up the ramp and waited for the garage door to open.
It’s so good the only thing I want now is the parking preferences piece, back row, backed in. And I think I’d feel comfortable being able to watch Netflix or check my emails on my computer.

It did slam on brakes today due to direct sunlight. I think that's a universal issue T

No, it seems random. The options are "Charger, Driveway, Curb" for home...Charger is 50/50 of backing in or pulling in forward for me.

I read that if you delete your home, re-add it with your vehicle on the charger, it will know what position it is, but I haven't tried that, yet.
I'm assuming charger is only an option for a Tesla charger. I have a Chargepoint due to a rebate from my electric provider, and I didn't see this as an option on my drive home. Only "Driveway" and it pulled in forward.

I got it today and wow what an improvement. It now feels like proper Tesla FSD comparable with other models.

Few small issues that I noticed that I'm sure will be fixed soonish:
1. Navigation kept changing routes to the "preferred" automatic route instead of the option chosen route
2. Blinkers go on way too early--especially annoying when there's another road before the actual road I'm turning on.
3. Swerved for a big leaf
4. Still a little bit slow to slow down for adjusted speed limits (for example road near me slows from 45 to 35 and police like to sit shortly after it turns to 35...I am able to "fix" this by switching to Chill then back to Standard)

Overall, it is exceptional and a huge upgrade that makes me want to go on a road trip
