He said that about E2E, too. There's an entirely new architecture coming next year as well. That's supposed to be really mind blowing, sometime in Q2.

I'd be shocked if us consumers saw true Unsupervised next year. Maybe longer time to look away, but a driver will still be responsible and in the driver's seat for consumers.

It’s not much of a leap. The final piece is the final piece. And FSD has been unsupervised-ready since v12 on HW3 in my opinion. Just waiting for Tesla to have the balls to accept responsibility for their software is all. Not really looking for it to perform any better.

I wonder if this is a fix for the recent PCS malfunctions happening..

I opened a service ticket for my 'only charging at 24A' / PCS2_a136 error. When I got the notification for the update, I asked service if I should install it. They said they recommended I hold off until they see the truck on Friday.

On a related note, the service ticket now says 'Parts In Transit' under the Upcoming Appointment tab. So, I'm guessing they're planning on replacing something.

That has been in every version of V14. It just means that the car has a clear view of your face. It can be obstructed by a hat or you not looking forward for long enough.

Early access user testing in parking garages noted that the car was preparing for pedestrian traffic behind blind corners - essentially moving from a reactive posture (slamming the brakes) to a predictive one (slowing down smoothly ahead of time).

Nag Fixed - Again
One of the biggest positives of this update has been reducing the false positives in the Driver Monitoring System, which FSD v14.2.2.1 had dialed up to the max. The previous iteration was nagging drivers for every little head movement or hands not being completely visible or free.

Now, that appears to be gone, allowing for the same smooth, hands-free operation that V14.2 originally debuted with.

The Takeaway
While FSD v14.2.2.2 isn’t the massive reasoning upgrade and sentience we were looking for with FSD v14.3, it is still an extremely polished build that has come a long way from the initial releases of FSD v14.

It also represents something else that is more important than a big tech leap over the holidays: stability. Tesla has ironed out many of the erratic behaviors in previous builds to give everyone a much smoother and more stable build of FSD.

I hope it fixes parking sensitivity. I have a small garage and need to inch it forward to the back wall for garage door to close (I have about 1 foot clearance) but the past few updates tapping the accelerator lightly doesn't move forward when it gets close. I'm worried if I tap it harder it'll lurch and hit the wall. I used to be able to feather it right where it needed to be but lately it's been more assertive at stopping when it thinks it needs to stop.

I also noticed this at superchargers going in reverse. I was able to lightly tap it to go backwards an inch or two. Now I'm afraid it'll go too far. Probably not but I'm either scenario it's too much of a risk to try.

Mine doesn’t park it inside my garage.. is that an opiton?

HAAAAA!!!! That happened to me at home and at work too. It was so weird. At least I wasn't the only one.
