I had a 240v outlet installed in my garage when i finished out my basement a while back. I can easily add the universal power connector there for my upcoming CT there. However are they just going to tear it all up again for installation of a Powershare or is there installation just right next to the main distribution panel in the basement on other side of house from the garage without the need to run another line (current one is 12-4 AWG copper).

Would really hate to tear off the drywall and rip more holes through the framing if i can avoid it.

The PowerShare unit was installed immediately to the side of my electric meter which is outside and on the opposite side of the wall where my interior breaker panel is installed.

From there, I had the electricians run a cable from my breaker to the garage for a 2nd Universal Wall Connector specifically for the Cybertruck. They ended up using my existing run for the Cybertruck and added a new run for my older Wall Connector.

I would venture to guess they can use your existing run for PowerShare if the cable conforms to code!

It depends on what was installed. If the wiring was big enough, it should be able to be used.
