From what I’ve seen, the Cybertruck comes with a bunch of classic arcade games in the Toybox, similar to other Teslas. For playing with your son, you might be able to use two controllers by connecting one via USB, which should free up the Bluetooth connection for your phone or another controller. Also, if you ever find yourself waiting around and want something more low-key to pass the time, playing a game of solitaire on your phone could be a relaxing option.

Hey everyone,

I am creating my wishlist of accessories for when my Cybertruck arrives and just added the PS5 silver controller to match my grey interior. Question... what games are loaded on the Cybertruck? Specifically, what 2-player simultaneous games are loaded? My son is a big gamer, as well, and would love to play some games with him while chilling in the truck. I am guessing I should order a second controller, but heard that the Cybertruck only allows two simultaneous bluetooth connections? So, if my phone is connected via bluetooth, I can only hook up one controller? Or is it as simple as disconnecting my phone from bluetooth and then having two controllers connected when I want to play games?

Thanks.
I still cannot find an Xbox BT controller that works - I have about 4 of various ages for the Xbox One...I am seeing that it has to be 'general BT compliant controller' and it seems the newer Xbox1's are not..

Anyone know the 'generation' of the xbox controller that is compatiable?

According to the owners manual only the USB in the glovebox can "play media". The USB-C ports are power only. Tesla switched to this during COVID. At the time they said it was a supply constraint, but it looks like it's the go forward route.

The manual says that the USB-A (glovebox) should not be split for multiple usb devices.

I eventually got a Series X controller to work after multiple tries after a few updates.

It isn't straightforward, multiple screen accesses, but it is possible.

I used a Xbox One X controller from my old Project Scorpio edition, paired right away.

By the way, my son and I are both into gaming — he’s been hooked on RuneScape lately, and we’ve even been checking out some cool custom servers on rsps, which really brings a fresh twist to the classic experience.

Thanks.
Hey,

I’m not 100 % sure about the full list of games loaded in the Cybertruck, but from what I’ve seen and read, there are definitely some solid 2-player options built in — mostly casual and racing titles, plus a few retro-style games.

And yes, from what I understand, you can only have two Bluetooth connections at a time, so if your phone is connected, you’d need to disconnect it to pair both controllers. Not a huge hassle, but something to keep in mind.

Also, getting a second controller is a good call if you plan to play with your son — it’ll make the setup way smoother.

I have two Bluetooth controllers and when I want to use both I just disconnect my Bluetooth key and use the keycard in my wallet in the phone slot instead.

Thanks. As for the games on it, I think you will definitely have enough space for two players. If the games on the Cybertruck do not satisfy you completely, you can add other entertainment options. I recently came across https://casinosanalyzer.com/free-spins-no-deposit/free-chips, and this can also be a great alternative if you want to try new games, even while traveling. And what game would be on your list for two players on the Cybertruck?
You can definitely connect two controllers, you just need to either turn off Bluetooth on your phone or connect it to another source.

The MCU in the CT was nerfed and they reduced the ram (they did this in the S/X recently as well).

The MCU and FSD Computer do share some resources, but are different computers.

Steam didn't run well in the S/X anyway...Elon's "better than PS5 level gaming" never came to fruition and was a really short run.

There's only 8gb of ram in the CT, which was halved from the S/X (cost savings). Even on PC, games like Witcher 3 (pretty old) stutter with 8gb of ram.

Tesla released it for S/X in 2023 when they upped the ram to 16gb(basically told all the 2022 owners to kick rocks as they wouldn't do free upgrades) and the results were not great. They removed it in 2024 and said there was low usage. I would agree those vehicles SHOULD be able to play games well, but as people like Green said, the MCU is not created to run games and questioned what the results would be before it ever released.

I think it's obvious Tesla doesn't see that as a priority. Elon looked at a spec sheet and said the Model S/X should outperform the PS5, but that's Elon.

I am agreeing with you.

Just saying they cheaped out on development and ram. 8 gb of ram is less than $40 in bulk. Weird places they decide to save cost.
