I haven’t even accomplished getting my PowerShare equipment installed yet over the ridiculous price gouging Tesla created using Qmerit. I was wondering if in the future as Tesla opening up power sharing on more vehicles if I could have two teslas powering my house. Appears to be no at this point.
Wondering if you got this working (2 UWC's with the Gateway sharing one circuit)? I attempted today to do just that and got the same results that @darrenf did (the Gateway would not reliably talk with the leader UWC). I ended up removing group power management and splitting the 60A load on both UWC's (one set to a "40A breaker" and the other to a "20A breaker"). This allows the Gateway to at least talk again to the one UWC that will backup the house (and use both UWC at the same time - albeit in a limited capacity). Tesla support also mentioned today that the software does not exist (yet) for PowerShare gateway 3V and UWC Group Power Management to work together (which explains why @darrenf and I were seeing the same thing)

Gotcha. Having two Teslas power the house would be amazing but I think there would be electrical concerns having two simultaneous power sources (something about matching frequencies I think). Who knows!? - maybe they could figure that out too. I'd be happy for now if I could at least backup from either UWC with any Tesla (and if both are plugged in maybe be able to pick which one to "drain" first?)

Multiple Cybertrucks in a Powerwall supported setup shouldn't be an issue once then get a single one working...

I have a PowerShare gateway with a universal charger connected with a communication wire for backing up the house. Can I get a second universal charger connected with a communication wire for backing up the house, but NOT at the same time with two vehicles? I want to be able to back up the house from either location.

Tesla support connected me to Powerwall support, and they said no, only one universal charger can be connected for backup. I asked if not, is there any benefit to buying the universal charger instead of the regular charger, and they said the universal charger has power management, which allows charging of two Teslas while the regular charger does not. I thought the regular Gen 3 charger does. If they are wrong, then I question what I was told about not being able to use a second universal charger connected with a communication wire to back up the house with only one vehicle, but at either location.

They might have thought you meant mobile connector when discussing "regular".
Powershare communication does not support two UWCs. Technically, it might be able to in the future, but would require additional software and possibly hardware mods (add diode for sourcing the 12V).

It might be possible to add a 3PDT switch to select which UWC provides backup, but I'm not sure if the gateway cares about the UWC's ID...

I finally got my power share equipment hooked up yesterday after owning my truck a year and a half lol. So now I see that only one UWC can be hooked up. I wonder if a switch could be rigged up on the communication wires to toggle between two UWC? The problem of WiFi on the one you are using would still be there.
