Gearheads, help...

I am aware that I am in the land of cybertruck gearheads.. but all I want is the one i ordered 4 years ago.. excuse my ignorance, heres my question.

I ordered or pre ordered or whatever I did in december 2019. Received an email my order/reservation was in the queue about 7 months ago.. haven't heard a thing yet and the only thing i see on my order page is: .

Select your configuration options and confirm the final price in our Design Studio. As a pre-order holder, your delivery day will be prioritized..

what do i do? I read on the contract if i change anything (design your cybertruck) the price goes up, but doesn't look like i am getting anything any time soon.. Can anyone enlighten me as to when what I screwed up on?

Follow the prompts to order an FS CT, and give them $1,000 non refundable and figure out you financing. Probably 6-8 weeks and your wait will be over.

Your original reservation was really just a spot in line. While we all did pick a config back then, specifics weren't set in stone yet. It sounds like you have the option to turn your reservation into an actual order for a Foundation Series truck now. If you want one of those, select your options and pay $1000 to finalize the order. You'll probably see it in a couple of months (beast may be longer wait than an AWD).

If you don't want to spend the extra $20K on a Foundation Series (or even want to wait for the RWD version) then you don't have to do anything. When those options open up Tesla will work through the reservation list again, starting back at the beginning for those who passed on the Foundation Series.
