Other vehicles should pay an additional fee that goes to reduce the cost of charging for Tesla owners.
Frustration at superchargers is escalating.
They do right? Like a subscription or higher price per kWh? I’ve never charged another kind of car there but that’s what I thought they were doing .

Yea Tesla charges them a little more, but that just goes into Tesla's pocket while us owners are the ones waiting to charge......

Maybe they should use that premium to hire supercharger attendants until they can be staffed with Optimuses (optimi?). No idea how to pluralize that.
It’s really the choose your own adventure free for all that’s the problem.

Once again I am conflicted. Sad, as a Tesla owner for 8 years. Happy, as a shareholder since it’s more revenue and profit. but even as a shareholder, I would’ve voted against opening up the superchargers to other cars. The exclusivity of superchargers was a real differentiator. It was easy to explain to new electric vehicle buyers. If you own a Tesla, you have zero range anxiety. If you own a different electric vehicle, you’re constantly thinking about where to charge and how long the line will be.

I think it’s a smart strategy. It’s like dealing crack. Free or cheap at first. Not that I have ever dealt crack l, but that’s how I understand it.
Get all the Escalade IQ and Hummer people charging at superchargers and then jack up the prices before Electrify America and others are even close infrastructure and profitability wise to being able to compete. It doesn’t work if nobody other than Tesla owners has bought EV’s yet and without teslas network, many of them wouldn’t have.
It’s honestly the best way to capitalize on the head start Tesla has assuming that they don’t think the sales advantage to Tesla cars is the greatest benefit of said head start which is probably true. There are a certain percentage of buyers who are going to buy other brands no matter what.
It is however super annoying.
It was also super annoying when the volume at superchargers basically tripled when the model 3 came out.

No worries. You don’t need to charge on the way to soccer games and spin class.😂
Unless those soccer games are in another state. Also, those are exactly the people who are willing to pay a premium for convenience.
The spin class comment made me think about some lady pedaling a bike on the back of Cybertruck bed like a hamster wheel to make electricity. 😂My head works in very strange ways sometimes.

Tesla Superchargers Will Be More Expensive For Non-Tesla EV's. Non-Tesla owners pay higher "out-of-network" Supercharging fees at Tesla Superchargers, but can reduce these costs by purchasing a Tesla Supercharging Membership for $12.99 per month to get the same rates as Tesla owners. The exact cost per kilowatt-hour (kWh) varies significantly by location and time of day, but non-members typically pay more than the standard Tesla owner rates. Additionally, all drivers are subject to idle and congestion fees if they occupy a charger unnecessarily or when the station is busy.

LOL, please stop my side hurts
Yeah me too. If the Porsche, bimmer and VW were all parked at the supercharger next to mine, my CT is still at the highest risk there of being tagged “swasticar” with spray paint. History is not without a sense of irony.
