Got email for Powershare installation

Got an email from Tesla for the Powershare installation survey.
Does anyone know if everyone with the Foundation Series has received this email and if anyone has received any installer's quotes yet regarding the cost?

yes everyone gets it a couple of days after placing an order and nobody knows how much it will cost.

My guess is Tesla is collecting info for internal marketing knowledge.

received email yesterday Dec 28th. Placed order Dec 22nd. California. Have solar, battery and gateway but no charging connector so I only need that installed for home power backup from CT. Can't wait.

I have Powerwalls already and everything I need. I’m just wondering if they would install at my second home that is out of state instead. Or if it needs to be at the main address.

I'm doing same. They can install anywhere. Just need to get proper permit, etc etc. I'm doing the install at our cabin since we have everything already at main house.

I have solar and older wall connector but recently started thinking about getting Powerwalls but now with CT coming (hopefully soon), perhaps only need the PowerShare connector for occasional peak-hour electricity usage. Installation for the universal connector and whatever else is needed for PowerShare shouldn't be huge cost imo.

I think they are doing everything they can to make sure a many people as possible have these installed ASAP to take the sting out of the real world range these will get. I personally never expected much, definitely not the 500 miles originally stated. But my truck now gets about 11 mpg any my TRX before that got about 8 mpg so I'm expecting an improvement in any case.

It might be limited by the zip code you want it installed in.
