Sentry mode caught some gems. Mental health is clearly part of it. People yelling at and flipping off an empty car is such strange behavior. Imagine getting upset and emotional over any other object, like a chair. It feels like maybe there's some jealousy mixed with unaddressed anger within themselves. I hope they get the help they need, and find happiness ❤

A guy in an ICE truck was checking out my Cybertruck as we were at the front of the line at a red light Thursday morning driving my young daughter and friend to school in the Cybertruck. I thought he was admiring it, the way he was straining to look over his passenger seat at me. When the light changed I accelerated quickly as I always do when at the front of the line. I don't drive any faster than the rest of the traffic flow, I just get to that speed quicker. I merged over left one lane then left another into a turn lane. Nothing crazy and not cutting off any cars because they were all way back there. When he pulled up next to me now on my right side two intersections from where I left him he gave me the middle finger. At first, I thought it was because I accelerated quickly but as I thought back to it I have driven that way in my Model 3 for five years no one has flicked me off. I prefer not to be surrounded by other cars if I don't need to, given all the bad drivers, so that's one reason I do it. The other reason is in 5 years of driving a Tesla it has never gotten old. When we needed a score of 100% for FSD I was driving like a Grandma and after almost getting into an accident every day because of drivers just being bad drivers next to me, and good drivers getting annoyed with a grandma-like driver, I was so stressed I gave up on my FSD score and just drove regular for me. Anyway, maybe it was a combo of my acceleration and the Cybertruck or maybe it was just the Cybertruck but watch out for haters out there because haters gonna hate.
Please ignore those jellyrolls. Welcome to our Cybertruck fraternity. Those finger salutes serve to remind us that we are leading humanity "to accelerate the advent of sustainable transport" -Elon Musk

Haha… that would have been my response: “You should be in good company then!”
I would have just told her, "Takes one to know one! Have a ugly day!"

nothing compares to the circle jerk at r/cyberstuck

not sure why so many people spend so much time hating on something they apparently don’t like.

I'm sure I'll start getting even more "birds" when I take delivery of the Beast, but I get a fair # of them in my TRX now. Some just don't like being passed and/or others driving faster vehicles. Jealousy? Insecurity? Perceived slight? Who knows. Don't care.

I'm increasingly ignoring them because there are some crazy people out there with very little to lose and you have to assume everyone is armed here in Tejas. The TRX is not bulletproof. ;)

No birds flipped at me, one thumbs down, one "that's the ugliest", but hundreds of "that's so cool!" People love the Cybertruck.
hundreds?? that's literally astounding. gives me hope for the future!

Ive gotta the finger a few times but I’m convinced that it’s less the truck and more the fact that I drive it reeeeeeeally fast.

I’m always happy to take a middle finger I deserve. ??

There’s a ton of grown adult babies. It’s really kind of scary that so many exist.

Also, at least in America people get mad if you pass them regardless of the vehicle. No idea why.
