Had my cybertruck for 4 days and this thing broke, see the picture. I dove a total of 200 miles. not sure if it is an issue comes with the delivery or I got something on the highway.

I put a duck tape to hold it in place which obviously doeswork.

Does anyone know if the warrantee would cover it? I really hate to go to the service so if anyone knows how to fix it, please instruct.

After reading this I just decided to cancel and get my $100 back if Tesla decided to drop the price in 6-8 months I may order one. But the reservatio system in now worthless. Actually it was worthless from the start cause Elon allow other to enter if they own Tesla among other reasons. Anyway, the truck is still have too many issues for me to pay $85k. I guess I’ll have to buy the Toyota Land Cruiser hybrid Instead. Which is not a bad replacement if you ask me.

Wow that sucks. This is why I’m just holding on to my reservation cause I’m not paying $80,000 for a truck that seems to break from every corner. Tesla needs to get its head out of its own A** and get all these issues resolved or stop making the truck until it does. It just seems that Elon does care about its customers anymore. Ever since he bought X he has lost his way with Tesla. It’s very disappointing to hear that you all are having issue.

You guys need to start your own forum and get off of this one for your own sanity. It’s a mud guard that broke, get a grip.

Come on, man! It's a broken plastic clip. Take pictures, tell them to send a mobile service or have it at the service center and come in.

Take your significant other out to lunch while they replace it and move on. The truck is not broken. A piece is broken. You can still drive it perfectly well.

Sorry to hear your decision, that certainly isn’t the purpose of this post.

I got my service estimate and it is $65, which is negligible.

I absolutely love this truck! Trust me it well worth the 87k price tag.

thank you for your suggestion. I was kind of anxious because lots of people told me how outrageously expensive it is and unbelievably long it takes to fix Tesla. Turns out it cost just 65 dollars to fix it.

In terms of time I hope i can go to the service center and wait there for 15 -30 minutes and get out with it fixed. Will report back next week

ha-ha I feel sorry for you if you had hopes of getting that fixed at the SC read my post about the missing Cerberus Logo. They'll tell you it's a part that is only available in the tesla store and that you will have to buy the part from them yourself as if it was a different company. you go buy the one you need making sure you don't forget which one it is that you need " diver side" It don't fuckn matter which one you need they make you buy all 4. Once you do that you ask them to kindly install them, they agree to put one on for you. you bring it in at 10am you call at 2pm see if their done they tell you it is going great, but they need more time they ask for one more day. you say ok. the next day is Saturday. you need your car for Monday, and you know their closed-on Sunday and now none of your mgs are getting reply its almost 5pm Saturday and you haven't heard a Wisper from tesla, the progress report on the app shows it's not done still. You decide to go to the Service Center and check it out. They tell you oh, your technician is out today that's why your mgs have not been answered but your car is almost ready. they make you wait till it's dark and visibility is low then bring it out ok you're all done. great you get home only to find out your mud flap is still broken, and they kept all 4 of the new ones. fucking jokes over there. this is a true story happened to me.
Holy crap! Please tell me you went to the Jacksonville, FL service center because it sounds like we had the same group of technicians, lol.

Guys, I went to service center here to fix the thing, costed me total $65, and 30 minutes waiting at service center. overall very good experience.

I have got my FSD 12.5 right before thanksgiving and tested it from NYC to Boston. Works perfectly. I love this truck.
