Hazard light & gears module dropping from windshield

The piece between the sun visors detached from the windshield. The service center supposedly fixed it but it dropped again within days. I think they just put some double sided tape! Anybody else experienced this?

Rule of thumb. If it’s been in service for any interior issues you will come away with missing and broken clips. Do the repairs yourself via service manual

I don't know. I haven't removed it completely. Was worried I would make it worse... Pretty straightforward to remove and reinstall? If the clips are broken they should replace the part I imagine.

It pops off pretty easily, even moreso if already half off... ‍

The clips need to be properly in place, or the console will continue to fall down even if it looks like it’s properly in place. Pull it down carefully, check the white clips for proper location placement and then put it back.

Due to constantly needing to clean the front glass covering the FSD front cameras, I’ve grown extremely comfortable disassembling the overhead console.
