Hazard lights will not shut off touch buttons above the rearview mirror do not work or respond to touch. Haven’t had any luck with Tesla service or roadside. Their suggestion was for me to drive two hours to the service center to see if they can get them to shut off, if anybody has any suggestions, please send them my way I have already tried the two button reset on the steering wheel and the power off in the safety feature on the screen.

Don't think driving for 2 hours with your hazards on is a good idea to get to the service center. Are you able to supercharge? That sometimes resets lights and might give you the ability to get them off and then go to the service center.

Seems like hazards should have a physical button, not touch. I’m kind of surprised they built it like that. The other Teslas have a real button.

I think the fix is unplugging it and getting the harness replaced before plugging back in.

I'm having this hazards problem right now. Tried all the things. Service center tried to help me out, but ultimately gave up and said I have to bring it in.

FWIW & IIRC, one poster a while back had this issue after getting the windshield tinted.

Seems the tint shop got water in that switch housing. Tesla replaced the switch (the tint shop paid for it or course) and the problem went away.

Mine randomly came back. My wife was going to take it to service today while I was at work, but she tapped the button and it shut off. Things I did... Full software reinstall from service mode. Removed FOHM and disconnected harness, then reinstalled after a few minutes.

I had the same issue after windshield tint installed. After removing the housing and air drying it press and hold the switch for about 10-20 seconds. That should turn off the lights.
