I just went to the website and Tesla doesn’t write in NJ—would’ve been too easy.

Geico wanted 2150 / 6 months.

I would rather cancel my insurance company than my Cybertruck. I am using Farm Bureau. $115 per month with a $750 deductible. Good Luck.

Yeah it seems Geico hates Teslas. I pay more for our MYP 2020, than 2023 EQS580 and a 2024 F150 Raptor.
seems odd but I’ll switch it to NJM or progressive.

Comparing each other's rates is futile. Insurance is based on so many factors. Each state is different. Credit, driving record, age, sex, other drivers, multicar and bundle discounts, deductible, previous claims, crime rates in your zip code, plus other criteria that only actuaries know about.

What I can tell you is my rate with State Farm is less than anyone here has mentioned, but double any other vehicle on my policy. Take that for what it's worth. Also, always shop around.

I may have to cancel my Cybertruck order at this point. Geico is gotten pretty extreme on pricing, no accidents been with them for years and years. I think I pay a lot on tis particular policy in NJ. The 3 cars on this particular policy are: 2024 F150 Raptor, 2023 EQS 580, 2020 MYP. I have high limits but my cost is 3049 / six months, yes 6100 bucks per year.

I was going to put my Raptor on my FL policy and add the Cybertruck and Geico wants 1100 bucks more per 6 months than the Raptor costs. BTW, When I had my Hummer SUT on this policy it was cheaper than the Raptor. So a Cybertruck is 4300 bucks / year in auto insurance. This may prevent me from moving forward. I'm going to shop insurance regardless of this.

However, what are you Cybertruck owners doing for insurance?
$1,723 every 6 months - Cybertruck and 2020 X on USAA.

It was more a function of seeing if everyone saw a huge increase on their rates for a Cybertruck. I have a Hummer SUT Edition 1 and the Cybertruck is cheaper and is 2.25 times more expensive to insure on Geico.

Added it to my GEICO policy along with an 2003 car and 2021 standard SUV, I believe they charge me just slightly north of $200/month. We’re in FL…for all three it’s close to $6K/year.

$2200/year with NJM. Up your deductible to $500 and get it requoted.

just reviewed my policy yesterday
Tesla truck 1700 per six months
Lincoln 1950 six months
Hummer 850 six months
Lincoln and cyber truck same value 100 k and cyber truck less money to insure. 500 deductible
Insurance in south Florida doubled for me on most vehicles
House insurance up thirty percent
Insurance costs are hurting everybody.
