Since we’re talking inflatable camp here…why not screen something in the great outdoors too?

pretty sure the chick who looks like she was abducted does not come with the kit.

sure would suck if your SUP pump broke in this camp. A backup is a good idea. lol.

Ok. On the casting couch today, executive produced by the one and only @dalton108, the Niphean inflatable awning from Uncle Bezos’ country store courtesy of this thread. Thank you @devdrone6 , you are the man.
Super light. Folds up small. Fantastic for vault shade. Solid as a side shade. Didn’t get any pics but useful in over the frunk config too.
Keeper for me. Worth the $139 price of admission purely based on being way lighter and smaller than my hitch umbrella. If you live anywhere sunny and spend any extended periods in proximity of but outside your car, it’s a no-brainer. Stability depends purely on your level of commitment to staking. Would be nice if it accommodated side walls too and I may improvise something like that but it doesn’t seem to be built for that natively.
Apologies for the messy vault. I’ve literally got everything including kitchen sink in there right now.

Wow this turned out better than I expected - thanks for posting!

Are there attachment points for stakes on the legs?

And for the side mount - are the straps going to the suction cups long enough that you could put this up while the cybertent is deployed? I’m thinking you’d have to move one of the cups a bit to avoid the part of the tent that goes above the doors.

EDIT: thinking about this some more, I’m wondering if it would work at all on the side with the tent up. Thoughts?

Yes. They are long enough and you could totally put them under the back “arms” that connect to the cantrails which btw I see no real purpose for other than cosmetic so you could even forgo connecting one to the cantrail or if you wanted two of these nipheans on both sides you could do that too. No reason though, can still stretch the out over the inflatable awning. Mine have a hard time staying taut anyway with the crappy Tesla/heimplanet clips which may be because of my ppf and ceramic. A magnet may work better.
Yes, there are stake loops on the legs and it comes with some.
Not tongue in cheek, this was a GREAT find for the inflatable camp folks.

Still wanna see that Soli on CT spread Ace! You tease!
Haha. If you see everything up front there is nothing to keep you coming back.
It’s the whole concept behind lingerie.
Headed to woods canyon lake again to play with a new paddleboard and shed about 20 degrees Fahrenheit of discomfort, will put it up there and shoot some pics.
I’m good for it. Promise.
I’m guessing they will likely offer the deal I got on Memorial Day again around prime day anyway. I’d probably wait a week or so to order. Purely speculation but lots of stuff is likely to get discounted the next couple of weeks.

Hmm. I've been assuming they will help hold the tent on when there's a strong wind coming from the front. Seems like those, plus the red straps, are what's holding things in place from anywhere but the bottom.

Mine have a hard time staying taut anyway with the crappy Tesla/heimplanet clips which may be because of my ppf and ceramic. A magnet may work better.
I have trouble with one side. So there's the stainless piece above the windows; right under that (towards the centerline of the truck, not towards the ground), there's a hard black plastic piece, and the clip needs to go between them. On my driver's side side, there's enough room for that bottom part of the clip to fit in there. On the other side, the stainless and black plastic bits are nearly flush at the apex, and I actually need to slide the clip in from about a foot back in order to get it to fit in correctly.

Might be something totally different on yours, but I thought I'd mention what I've found on mine in case it's helpful!

So…very sorry but the centerfold is on hold a little while longer.
Got exceptionally lucky with weather today.
it was 83f and overcast at the lake with a light refreshing drizzle out on the SUP. Just wasn’t a reason to use the shade.
I have a question to pose to you all though. Where is the best place you’ve ever napped?

Well if we don’t count my couch…

The best naps I’ve taken were either on a paddle board off Kawai point after hours of paddle boarding or on this park bench on Chautauqua, upstate New York, listening to the waves.

Sounds like you had a darn good day up there, was 107 but felt like 115 down here lol. Enjoy!

So I spent the last couple of days using the niphean and it’s great. $130 very well spent

Nice - thanks for posting this! You didn’t happen to get a closer picture of where it’s attached to the truck, did you? I’m still having trouble seeing how it works around the tent strap/clip up at the top. Maybe it’s just a lack of imagination on my part… 😂

@hemiarch Airfryer and induction camp kitchen? Nice setup for forest fire restrictions. My road kitchen is airfryer, induction grill, rice cooker, and hot water pot.
