Would be nice but it would only show a very short path via tentacle since ASS uses FSD to drive. And as you know, FSD changes it's path based on what's happening around it.
That would be fine. Just knowing which way it intends to go as it leaves the parking spot would be a big help. I don't need to see the whole path.

Parked my Cybertruck 150 FT away from me in the shade. Used "come to me" on a dirt road to bring the Cybertruck back to my boondock campsite. My 22 year old daughter was a big fan, so much that she forgot to video!

I tried using it to pick me up from the mall, and it went out of range and got stuck. Malls have those one way lanes and I was parked facing away so that is something you need to be cognizant about when parking. Otherwise I’d say it worked pretty well when I used it this weekend.

But it uses Google Maps too, so the possibility of a predetermined path to your location should be possible. Right?

Will ASS work while towing a trailer?🤔

Add. Per Tesla, not recommended or it will cause issues due to rear camera potentially being obscured!

What are the best use cases for ASS? I would love to hear your experiences. I'm a little nervous to use it without knowing more. Are any of these scenarios a no-no?
- during rain
- very large lot where you can't see the vehicle
- busy lot like a concert / festival exit scenario
- parking garage meet me at the gate
- from a parallel parked spot
- where there is a street to cross or drive
I don’t think a situation involving an actual street that wasn’t just part of the parking lot is allowed. Operating on a public street without a driver would require at least official level 4 approval.

It might deal with parallel (un-)parking better than I would.

I think a parking garage might be challenging in both maneuvering and radio communication.

The other scenarios I wouldn’t attempt yet. I’d start with a near empty lot and build confidence, but probably wait for a year or more of additional updates before attempting anything that might not be easy.

I got my A.S.S. on the last update. I really like the ability to summon my CT in the rain however......

Today while just practicing I summoned Big Red to pick my wife and I up at the entrance to my mom's assisted living. It was in a parking lot with a "one way" path of travel. The I summoned it Big Red went the wrong way in the parking lot. I stopped it because I was afraid it was going to go into the trees which would have been twice the distance from where we were originally from the CT. I have a bum knee so I hobbled over and turned Big Red around and proceeded home. Kinda puzzled because it worked fine before in the same lot.
My first try failed. Went the wrong way (shocked) then just stopped no where near me. And had my finger on the come to me. Disappointed.
