For all of the early CT reservation holders who received a Tesla Cybertruck e-mail invite to order a Foundation Series CT and decided to hold off for “normal” Dual/ Tri trucks:

Prediction: Once the FS series orders cease the “start designing” page will quietly convert without any fanfare to “normal” Dual and Tri Motor order boxes.

I would love to hear your thoughts.

I would assume that Tesla will start sending configuration invites for non-Foundation Cybertrucks to the reservationists who already passed on configuring Foundation invites first. And, no, I can't imagine what kind of fanfare could conceivably go along with that. Because there is still a hell of a lot more demand than supply.

I agree! I also predict that the initial invites will go out to configure Beast version first. I think Tesla will start producing more Beasts compared to AWDs after FS ends. Once Beast demand subsides, they will ramp up AWDs more. This is a wild prediction without any data or intel. So take this with a grain of salt. :p

Perfect I can see it the first non-foundations will be the beast version, with full self driving, and the home charging kit ?

New $250 deposits will get first dibs, mark my words. They will say they offered you a configuration and you declined it, so now you wait. It has happened before.

I had a beast order for 88 days. I finally downgraded to Dual motor and got a VIN in 2 days.

QQQSB. Was your "downgraded Dual motor that got you a Vin in 2 days" a NON FS version?

If someone doesn't get the deposit refunded they're likely still interested...

That's a good point. What if half the people who passed on FS are waiting for RWD CTs? Do they go through the list for Beast, then AWD, then RWD? Do they just open all three at once for a $1k order, but you might be waiting 2 years for RWD? If it was two options of FS or not, it would be more clear. With 5 options and no way for the reservation holder to currently express their interest in 3 of those options, the go forward process seems like it cold go 100 different ways.

Probably those orders will be offered Foundation also.
