How many current / near future CT owners have never owned a truck before?

Ram Box (ARB dual compressor is in the psngr side) molle panels so there's really not much that needs to go in the bed on most trips.
Yeah I have the ARB Twin Compressor mounted under the steering column and its components are under the hood. I just pop the hood and plug in to air up the tires. I LOVE that compressor. I would love to get that for the CT.

Yeah for the spare and such, I could fix that all with a rack on the back and just hang it. I have been contemplating that as that would free the bed.

I will be interested to see what racks come out for the CT to allow it to be more of an overland setup.

Added some pics for ya.

Trouble with the CT is that it's already so range challenged for remote travel that anything you hang off it is just exacerbating the deficiency. It's not the right platform for that. Anyone that builds out a CT with the overland attire is posing in the worst way. Electric will never be the right choice for remote travel until battery density allows for 1000 mile range or charging becomes available in the middle of nowhere (which makes no sense economically so it would have to be some federal program).

If you think there are a lot of lifestyle truck owners now, get ready, Cybertruck will certainly be setting new records for this phenomenon. The Jeep Wrangler Rubicon lifestyle folks are going to start to look like seasoned Dakar rally veterans in comparison.

As you said, there is nothing wrong with this. If it makes folks happy, go for it, life is short. :D

Agreed. Should also make for great business for the off-road recovery / towing companies pulling neophyte CT owners out of remote areas when they run out of electrons.

Don’t forget that a CT can rescue/charge another CT

You'll never be able to. Not enough range to even get to some of those trailheads much less venture down the trails. We have now come full circle. Thank you for participating in this social engineering experiment. Please enjoy the complimentary juice and cookies on your way out.
False!

Okay...show us how you plan to explore trails in Grand Staircase Escalante National Monument with the current public supercharger infrastructure.

I checked super charging network around the trails mentioned by the OP. It’s not that bad. Tesla will continue to add more superchargers.
Closest SC to the town of Escalante is 130 miles or so. You'll be lucky to get there and back to a SC much less venturing out for any adventure. Math is still hard.
