How often did you bother the SC to get an update on your truck’s location?

I know some of you have waited a looooong time to see your beasts. I’m resisting the urge to bother my SC for updates on my truck’s location after receiving a vin 3 days ago.

How much did you bother your SC to get the latest? Mine sounded annoyed after my first and only request.

I didn't even check the app; they had to text me when VIN was assigned. Assuming they'd expeditiously have me push the "tasks" through, I just waited for them.

If your SC is somewhat local, it wouldn't hurt to pay an initial visit just to see what they know.

Odds are it's already there.

I received my VIN around noon yesterday (no text). A couple hours later I drove over to the mall where Tesla has rented space for incoming vehicles. Found my Cybertruck sitting there (after checking 10 others) and then drove to the service center to ask about arranging delivery.

Delivery tentatively scheduled for this Friday.

They said mine was in “A logistics location in Texas” when I asked. The SA said it would be 2-3 weeks at that point.

I didn't even ask. I know where the "logistics location in NJ" is - it's a mall parking lot about 1 mile from the service center, LOL.

He said that
Yeah but they have access to systems that can see the location of the trucks and that’s what I’m asking - how many times and how frequently people are calling their SC to get the location of their truck.

Your SC GM is a shmuck. When you get your VIN, your SC guy can look up exactly where it is. My guy said he can even honk the horn. I called every couple of days. Once it hit a truck carrier it was at my SC dealer in 72 hours. I apologized to my guy about calling so much and he said “No worries… I actually enjoy doing this for customers because I get excited along with them.”

Once at local service center and once at delivery location. They were very friendly, helpful, and cooperative.

He hates me. I knew district Mgr. I called. I just bought another S. Couldn't transfer it. He couldn't transfer it. App don't work. HQ got it Done
