I've been seeing some discussions about this, so I did a Google search and found a good article comparing speeds of different race vehicles.
Only vehicles that can match a 0-60 time of 2.6sec. is a Formula 1 car, and Moto GP race bike.
Edit: When I looked further down the list they included Top Fuel dragsters, hmmmmm yeah that's quicker.
