My Lab-pit stands with his feet on the back seat, his front paws on the console, nose pressed against the windshield, so as to completely block my rear view and left side view mirrors.

Go ahead Crissa, tell me what a terrible dogfather I am 😆 But rest assured, that I've tried seat belt harnesses and even a crate. He hopelessly tangles the harness strap and whines for the entire 2 hour trip to my cabin if I crate him. He loves the cabin so he's willing to risk his life given his confidence in my driving safety. 🤷🏽

BTW, the mutt in my avatar isn't that one, he's a dream to drive with. Sits patiently staring out his side window. 🥰

Our 13 year old GSD is at about 50% now. Sleeps all day, only is really active for a short walk daily and a ride in my Tacoma truck. Still absolutely a beautiful dog with an amazing demeanor. Eats very well, doesn't seem to be in pain. Hate to think about letting him go. I was really hoping to have my Cybertruck by now so I could give Santino a ride in style.
