As long as it takes!

Given Quad Motor have taken over first production roll -out; how long are you willing to wait for your CyberTruck - I am at 6 years now given priority has shifted based upon Quad and Tri-Motor priorities. Will you be willing to wait 5 years or more or eventually will you shop elsewhere?
Answer:It doesn't make sense to reopen orders if the many comments on here hold true, projected wait time is 4+ years.
What are the reasons?
1. Lots of cancellations
2. Pre-orders were not as high as we thought.
3. Production capacity will be sooner and much higher than we think.
I will wait until there is an alternative that can compete with the price and specs of the tri-motor, as originally announced.Given Quad Motor have taken over first production roll -out; how long are you willing to wait for your CyberTruck - I am at 6 years now given priority has shifted based upon Quad and Tri-Motor priorities. I am around 650K and thinking mid 2025. That is a lot of vehicles to ramp from one factory. I would not be surprised to creep to the end of 2025. I does indeed allow me to see one in person to make sure it is what I still desire and need.Tesla delivered 1.2 million model 3/Y in 2022
Expect deliveries of CT to happen quickly.
Tesla just opened up new orders for CT on the website.
This is going fast.
I'm expecting my #600k and #1.1 million numbers before the end of 2024.
Gather up you money boys and girls.
you'll probably get a better equipped and more trouble free CT by that time too......Sometimes I wonder if these posts are started by folks associated with other manufacturers or dealers...
but look- as the owner of a 2016 Ram 3500- I will wait however long to buy a cybertruck. I will never buy a truck from the ford/chevy/dodge again.
I made a reservation a year and a half after the reveal and I will wait however long it takes.
do they still offer the drive 1,000 miles and if you dont like it you can turn it back in and get full refund? One thing is for sure, it's likely with all the tech layoffs that a lot of tech folks will have to forgo buying one for a while. I bet less than half the reservation holders actually act on it. Lets say there are actually 750k people that will act on the reservation. I think that's even on the high end. It really will depend on what they cost. If there is a $40k option its probably over 1M people. Let's say the production is 25k this year, 150k next year and 250k the following two years. So if they truly work through the reservations and 750k act on the reservation it will be 2027 before they flush out the whole list. I have a crazy early dual motor reservation. I am hoping I don't get called until the end of 2024 because I am building a house and dumping all my excess funds into that right now. Also, I would like to test drive one and let them hammer out issues for a year. The CT has a lot of new ideas from Tesla and they really need real world trial and error and I would rather not be the guinea pig.
