I always wondered how easily CT is totaled. Where do you guys think he is spot on and where do you think he is off? Additional thoughts?

Most cars, if the wheel is pushed into the wheel well the car will be considered totaled. It's frustrating, but safety promotion and cost savings tend to this solution. This is true of any car - the gigacasting doesn't change that.

Tesla does seem to be moving towards better repairability - but also because few know how to fix them, that also raises prices.

This is another part in which he gets into the weeds of Aluminum vs HSS. He mentioned Chinese are moving the same direction as Tesla in using more aluminum which may drive the aluminum prices up.
Summary is at min 18:50
