I am getting much mixed feedback from those with whom I choose to share my cyber-vision: Non-FS AWD + Cyberlandr. As part of a win-win solution, I am selling my townhouse and consolidating with elderly parents who are at that place where live-in family is optimal (dad is 90 and mom is 84). I will use my CT to shuttle between my parents and my son's growing family, 1.5 hours away by highway. AND, I will use my CT to chase a few adventures upon retiring in 2 years after 40 years in education. My successful sons are amused, and wary of me making such a purchase--cash--...they want ALL of my sale net $s to be tucked away as a part of my retirement plan....I say, "the CT IS a part of my retirement plan". [Enter sound of crickets]. There is still some time to consider all perspectives before my "number" comes up, though I expect I shall not waver.
Go for it, you earned it. Not that it matters but I applaud your choices in life.

Ahhhh! Wonderful, comrades! Speaking of mixed reviews...or expectations...there is a bit of a low-key rumble that Cyberlandr will never see the light of day. I am here for when it does!

Also concerned that we have heard crickets from CL since we all discovered the CT bed sides are sloped.. None of the other options meet our needs for a pop up "hotel room". The bathroom with shower being the most import aspect of the unit. Don´t want to tow a trailer. Trying to be hopeful.

I have had my FSCT for 4 days. It is BY FAR the best investment ever, I saved for four years in order to put down enough to make it make sense.

I love everything about it, the ride, the handling, the sound system alone has made start on a walk through of all the music I loved growing up. Senior year was 93 so Alice in Chains, Craig Mack, Metallica Black, Jay Z, Steely Dan, etc.

I have had no negative reactions, I have talked to 40+ people, taken tons of photos of people sitting in my truck.

I had a little girl get out of her car and walk 4 vehicles back at Human Bean and ask to take a picture. I agreed and her mom waved to me and said Thank you.

I have been kind and courteous to anyone that asked or waved. I roll down my window and talk to people at red lights, spreading the good word of Tesla and EV's in general.

The excitement of people, the conversations I have had, it has really reminded me that in this divisive world, people are generally nice, and we all just want to be excited and treated fairly.

Not all people can handle the social interactions, but it has genuinely brightened my outlook on life and people in general.

And lets not forget that I am up early everyday in excitement to drive it. I love charging at 6:00 am (ish) and watching the sun rise looking at Pikes Peak from the Briargate Supercharger spot.

This truck is amazing enjoy it and let it bring more joy to your life.

I love all of the things about Cyberlandr.....a great reason to give up all storage back there, imo. I am hoping that no news is good news, and there will be major progress at the next look-see!

Alright, here’s my confession. I was a day two pre order. Patiently waiting for my turn to come. Two months ago I received the email for the Foundation Series and rolled my eyes at the offer. I told myself I will not cross that line. The trucks price has already been hiked up quite a bit but I still considered it fair price considering all economic and value factors.
Since then I’ve opened that email numerous times getting all the way to the final moment of clicking to order. Every time I have gotten there common sense kicks in and says no way.
welp, I have to admit I have no clicked that button. A mix of excitement and defeat all at once. Friends and family have shared differing opinions of this with a wide range of responses. In the end it is what it is. I never make purchases in this manner yet being an 80’s kid this truck speaks to me. I suppose it’s ok to make one unrestrained purchase in life. For everyone still waiting to do it the right way I’m sorry I couldn’t be stronger! I did my best but my cyberlust got the best of me.
Oh man. I'm an 80's kid too, and after saying no for 2 days, I cracked and begged wifey to let me buy it. I pick mine up Friday at 11:30am. It cannot get here fast enough.
