Oh, no, it's more than a hundred weeks so far. Not thirty.

-Crissa

PS, I think the negativity comes from the few hints of flipping we've seen. Not people who want to populate rentals or local contractor fleets or whatever. The problem is that the original poster was too vague... And what we have to guess on is also too vague. We have no idea what insurance, FSD for third-parties, or delivery timelines will be. We don't even know what sort of interest rates loans will be at!
Agreed. But I was talking about years, not months. Seems like thirty... years.

I see the same thing for Denver colo. I have reserved a few myself. I want to talk. I think it's going to be the best vehicle made for the snow in the Rocky Mountains. 720 421 4588
I have a couple, I hope, are some game changing ideas. Im hoping every truck will easily make 300.00 or more a day.
I'm in Windsor CO and have 2 reservations (one earlyish and one later for v2 hopefully, intent for personal use), if you get one early, I'll be your first customer as the wait is killing me! and I want hands on!

If you can finance 30 CTs, you'd be better off buying 10-15 Jeep Wranglers and renting them out on Nantucket island. By the end of Summer and after taxes, they'd pay for themselves and get you a free Cybertruck. The following year you'd have almost $1M in your pocket.

The Cybertruck is THE most anticipated Tesla product ever. It's successful introduction into a new vehicle segment is a key element in the growth of the car company. I'm confident they will make the right decisions on the CT rollout with the goal of getting it into as many garages (driveways ;)) as possible. Rental and fleet use are interesting concepts in very specific use cases but I can't see rental demand being more than novelty or curiosity outside of those few specific use cases (ex. airport to ski lodge transport).

The Buzz created by the Model Y with zero advertising was palpable. It was the number 1 selling car (car, not just EV) in Germany in September ... yes #1 selling car in BMW VW land!. It was also the top selling SUV class car in China same time frame. The CT has the ability to perform similarly sales wise and with it's simple (lean) design and low cost to manufacturer, it will create big profits for Tesla even if they sell it at 2019 quoted prices (which they won't). Scaling up production will be the big challenge but I think they are a step ahead on that front as per usual.

OT and with appropriate disclaimers ... If you are not invested in Tesla, you are seriously missing the boat.

I've noticed more commentary around the CT being late.

"I'm cancelling'

'I'm sick of waiting'

'I've been waiting too long, I just cancelled my order !'

I see this on twitter, and EV articles... talk about a push leading upto the release.

Once we have the CT it will be in the past and we move on.

Then, I can see the staged events lol... maybe sensor.. like 'Tesla nearly killed my Baby'

But that will pass too.

All enemies will eventually give in to the future.

For Tesla, the future is now.

I’m just wondering how long before the first person gets a permanent ban from flipping Cybertrucks. We’ve already seen it happen with Model Ys and we’ve seen a fair number of people intent on flipping Cybertrucks just on this forum. It’s bound to happen to someone.

Hmm. Right now the boat is listing to port about 20 degrees. I’m sure the bilge pumps will kick in soon though.
The boat is fine. The seas are choppy but no storm lasts very long. That said, stocks are probably a bad idea for risk averse, prone to seasickness types. :-/

PE compression.
Tesla has more PE to compress than its contemporaries, so our impact could/should grade worse than others.

And here we are, our forward PE is now almost half of our trailing PE.

And Forward PE next year will IMO at least halve again on current.

Goodness me..... I have money coming Mid December, I had no idea I would be in the running for other low buy....

Talk about crazy, I've kept my fingers crossed for lingering recession.
