WELL, I joined the CT family today and NOW I understand the true joy of ownership that I read about so many times in here. I really thought that I was just going to like it but not absolutely love it like others, but boy was I surprised. I had about an hour and a half drive (mostly highway) from theTesla Service Center to my garage so I got to check out its performance, albeit on FSD v. 13.2.1. It was phenomenal. It drove around like a champ and I just sat there and thought to myself that it is ever so close to being a Robotaxi. I am currently doing the download for FSD v. 13.2.2 and I cannot imagine how it could be better than 13.2.1. I never even thought about being anxious during the drive, it just aced everything.

Anyway thanks to everyone posting to the forum, there is a ton of great info here. I want to take my dog for a ride tomorrow, (a big boxer dog) and was wondering how to protect the center console and rear seat screen from getting scratched up. I plan on draping a heavy blanket over the center console area with the rear seats up but was wondering what others are doing for the back seat driver dogs.

For the rear door card area I bought some removal protectors. Seat covers is must in my opinion. Several vendors on this site sell console covers. A screen protector is wise for both front and rear screen.

Depends on the size of your dog. My 89 pounder ripped straps off the cybertruck specific seat protectors that have mesh screen barriers. I'm now usung a heavy one from Duluth Trading.

I dont trust a screen protector in back, I prefer a barrier to keep my beast off the screen.

Our screen protectors are the toughest in the world...they survive our two frenchies, who think they're as big and strong as a boxer, but mostly they're just dumb. It make drool clean up a bit easier.

I have tried out a couple rear pet liners and am using one now. Of course, all of the liners cover the console and monitor but we really need someone to make a console/monitor cover/protector. One was promised early on but never made it to market. One way to protect the console/monitor in the interim is to tether the dog with a short leash that hooks into the seat belt receptacle. They are very inexpensive and come in different lengths.
