I’m not getting the power share and charger because I configured a better option with a local electrician so now I have a $2500 code to use. Everything is out of stock or overpriced or alcohol free so I have a great idea that pleases all parties.

Let me apply my gift card to my extended battery. I put $500 deposit on one when I ordered my CTFS. Tesla gets the $2500 now and I will (hopefully) pay $12k instead of $15k when the extended battery is ready.

I’m hoping Tesla reads this blog and sees any comments or upvotes from you all if you agree with my idea. Maybe before June 2025 (the gift code deadline) Tesla will allow us to apply the code to our battery order.
ah your one of the suckers who wants the battery that ruins the bed capacity huh

If you have any grandchildren, you can always tell Tesla you want the Cyberquad for kids if you're allowed to use your credit it on that. That would make you a rockstar to those kids.

That depends on what happens between now and when the battery extension is available. If too much time passes in between and newer battery technology yields more distance in the same form factor then it won't be worth the loss of bed space.

it says one use and the rest is forfeited. Does it work for BO'd items? Or is they are ordered and BO'd, you loose?

I put in my order right away. I don't like expiration dates. At the prices Tesla charges, it's not hard to spend $2500.

When do these vouchers expire?

Well that sucks. I haven't received mine yet, so assuming that whenever I get it, it will be good for a year-ish.

I was hoping they would last longer than a year, just due to the Tesla shop always being out of stock of items that I like.

It's a problem, I think, no matter when you decide to use the voucher. There always seem to be several items that are out of stock, and Tesla won't take orders for out of stock items. Unless you want one or two very expensive items, the only strategy is to make a list of things you want and check often to see what's available. When most of what you want is in stock order those items along with other items that you can use to use up the full $2500 voucher. If you wait thinking that eventually all your desired items will be stocked, you may run into the expiration date and be forced to buy things you don't really need or want.

I'm just hoping there will be enough pressure on Elon that they will do something about the expiration date and limited offering availability. We know the media watch these threads. (Hey media, you listening?) ? ? ?

The easy fix is to just let us order things that aren't currently in stock with a clear warning that it won't ship right away. I don't know why they haven't done that already - this isn't a new problem.

I agree. Back-orders should be allowed and would solve all the angst. This reminds me of a Simpsons episode where Crusty the Clown says on his TV advertisement;

“Hey kids! Ha ha ha..come to Crusty Burger and eat a burger and I’ll give you $40!!!"

I posted this on other thread but figured I would share what I ordered yesterday, all in stock, right up to the exact penny of $2500.00 (since it is voucher, don't count tax as you are looking through shop). If total cart is over $2500 it will reduce everything across the board

Edit...by the way, everything shipped already in less than 24hrs with the exception of Driver Side molle panel (passenger side shipped) and the tie down cleats.

Tesla Cybertruck I know where to put that $2500 Voucher
