I am able to be much more aware an attentive to everything happening around my vehicle while using FSD; as intended. You don't get strikes by keeping your head on a swivel. But you do, however, get increasing nags as the camera sees your retinas facing the screen, floor, phone, etc for too long. I bet you you get "object detected in hands" a lot, don't you?

Skill issue. Attitude issue.

It was probably a bad idea to post about this item as there are some amongst us who are snitches and will probably report it to admin or Tesla and Tesla will probably try and send out an update to prevent the use of these kinds of devices. It sounds to me like you haven't figured out how to use it, but yeah the best way to use it on the CT is wearing sunglasses and turning it on. Wearing the sunglasses prevents the AI cabin camera from seeing your eyes too well and starts prompting you to apply pressure to the steering wheel instead, which you can also scroll the button wheels as a substitute. This is where the nag eliminator comes into place and takes care of that for you allowing you to not have to put your hands on the steering wheel at all.
That would be me. I've already reported it. And I will continue to do so for every dickhead who does stuff like this and it always ends up with us having MORE nag systems to combat the illegal and immoral "defeat" devices.

Scumbag behavior shouldn't go unchecked. I'm tired of people being reckless on the highways.

FSD is a modern technology marvel that will utterly change the way humans live on this planet. I'm going to do everything I can on my end to help keep the rollout as clean as possible.

Right. But it's a moot point anyway; so I'm going to go ahead and mute you and be done with this non-sense. Advocating for safety feature defeat devices is an utterly indefensible position, since it begets you risking your life and the lives of others on the highway with you.

Needless death and destruction because you can't be an adult and just wait until unsupervised comes out so you can play on your phone to your heart's content.

I have never had to touch the steering wheel while using FSD 13 in the Cybertruck. It only requires that if it can't see your eyes (sunglasses or a hat can cause this, for example). And if I look away too long and get the blue nag on-screen, just looking forward fixes it, still no need to touch the controls at all.
My truck will notify me that "Attention monitoring not available." When that happens, I have to move the volume knob when the screen starts flashing. Looking forward does not help.

I have used it. You must not own a HW4 Tesla. There is no comparison, Tesla wins hands-down.

Seriously not trying to troll you. l have experience with both systems.

This says everything one needs to know about the Toyota system: From the Toyota Teammate Advanced Drive brochure: “…It provides the driver with information and driving assistance while on supported controlled access freeways, all under the driver’s supervision.”

The only time my truck notifies me that driver monitoring is not available is on roads without lines but that is infrequent.

I live in a rural area with many roads without dividing lines, which is why I didn’t like the Toyota system (you are limited to “supported controlled access freeways”

Regarding nagging, maybe it is a little better, but that is it.

Finally, Although Toyota’s system has potential, it isn’t in the same class as Tesla (HW3 or HW4). Tesla certainly isn’t perfect but it has come a long way.

Tesla developed FSD and they are responsible for defending against lawsuits people bring against them. They have reams of data that they use to decide where to put the cutoff for acceptable driver inattention. It's a very rare day that I get even a single nag, most often I go a week or more between nags. I'm not sure why you are having so much trouble learning to use it. Yes, I know, you claim you can use it just fine but that it requires too much effort. Why this is, I can't figure out, it's second nature to me. I don't even think about it.

When you develop your own software that does most of the driving for you, you will be free to choose your own level of driver inattention that you think is acceptable. Until then, you have zero say (as it should be).

With how quickly FSD has developed recently, and the rollout of driverless taxis in Austin, it will be a moot point soon enough. In the interim, I would appreciate it if you would stop assuming that everyone who doesn't have a problem with nags are simply lying Tesla fanbois. That's not a good look.
