this is just for those of you out there curious; I didn’t get the lights for free and this isn’t some shameless plug for a product or YouTube channel trying to get clicks; I’m just happy with the lights. . I was REALLLY wanting the oem lightbar but it could be months-year(s) before I’d ever get the chance. I personally am not a fan of most of the third party light bars because they otherwise look like they are off amazon. They also sit high up and just overall..eh. Personal opinion. I got pumped about the CyberGearCo combo they were offering so I jumped and just did the installs today.
I really liked the lower profile look and didnt want to have to use roof attachment points to put something up above the roof. CyberGearCo were the only ones that have been able to pull off something close to oem. It’s extremely affordable, very well made, and incredibly easy to install. I made a video of the install process of both the lightbar and the running light(YouTube it) to show how easy. Very happy with the results, the look, and the light output. I also got the daytime running light as well. It was more of an involved install but still not bad. At this point any additional light the better in my opinion. I think the overall look is great. Most importantly to me is it all looks oem; not Amazon/harbor freight. Cheers ??

That looks awesome. Nice work. What’s the advantage of the light strip at the bottom above the bumper? It turns on with the main headlights right? Is there a noticeable difference in illumination?
Trying to determine if it’s worth the extra PITA.
It looks nice, don’t get me wrong, but it definitely doesn’t add as much aesthetically as those cool roof lights.
It’s inexpensive enough to add it and in fact the Chinese marketing machine is really trying to push those together as a pair, but it seems like much more effort and more invasive to install.
Not sure I’m that excited about messing with my headlight harness even if I completely ignore the tub removal and wire fishing. I’m just picturing what Tesla service is going to say if I have some sort of headlight problem In my warranty covered 100k car.

Installed the front light bar at the frunk a few weeks ago. No video at that time would have saved me a few minutes. Can not access the frunk button either.
Thanks for the video.

As far as I can tell it’s just asthetics but I haven’t driven in the dark yet. Looks like maybe a little additional light. It turns on with the daytime running lights I believe or when the truck is “on”. Had I had the tips n tricks doing that install it would have been much easier n faster.

Great video, and the light looks nice. I couldn’t tell from the video but how does the light come up on the touchscreen? Did you have program anything or does it simply recognize a rooflight? Thanks.

The light comes on with the headlights.

Is that right? I would have a problem legally of I ran those lights all the time I tan headlights on the road. Guess it isn’t an option then.

The front accent light is designed to be road-legal and compliant with traffic regulations.
The roof light bar is controlled via the roof outlet interface on the touchscreen

Oh that makes more sense. Thank you for clarifying that the roof light did not automatically come on when turning on headlights. Hope you have a matte option soon.
