INSURANCE COST RISES

I have read many CT owners voice frustrations with insurance carriers dropping their policies or being very costly. After 6 months of having TESLA INSURANCE they have decided to increase my premium. I would think that with the way other companies are approaching the CT, TESLA would try to keep rates for their trucks affordable because that is a major factor to consider when purchasing a vehicle!

Do you think Tesla is using this situation of other companies canceling policies as a way to overcharge us? Also what insurance do you use?

I think this is completely insane to be honest.
I was hoping for to hear about more affordable ?

lol, I thought about reporting a lower mileage but the wanted me to send a photo. I also figured that they probably know the mileage anyways, these new vehicles always reporting on us. 6k annually I thought would be cheaper tho ?

They did ? I have 2 teslas and lowered both the miles of course because now I have 2 so half each ?. And didn’t hear a think just automatically said $40 a month lower. If they figure it out then who
Cafes pay it, if they don’t you won ?

Hello Jack, wow that is a win for you. The only thing was that they wanted a photo of my mileage screen.
Maybe I’ll try lowering on app in the near future because I do have several other car I drive.

It's more because of where you live than anything else... You live in Los Angeles and rates for LA are ALL going way up!

I am in Ventura County and ours is going up (my policy is for January), but luckily not THAT high... Ours is $1,097 per 6 months (for CT and Model YLR)... Not bad for around here... Cheaper than AAA, USAA and a couple others...

Two Teslas for that price is a steal based on my rate for only 1 CT that is a 2nd/3rd car.

I have 5 other cars with gieco and the ct alone is only $30 less per month by itself
