I was cleaning the inside of the truck after the work week and noticed what seems like staples sticking through the material on the pillar/panel by the driver side seat belt. Anyone else have this? I cannot unsee this now. I have a service appt coming up for unrelated concern. Is it worth mentioning?

Um, no. That's what it looks like when you drag a heavy item over the soft-touch vinyl. I'm sorry you (or a helper) damaged your upholstery.

It’s possible. Just can’t think of a time it happened but thanks for the insight

It's not covered by Tesla and it's $185.

You’ve had it replaced?
No. Mine is different, probably take picture tomorrow. It's vertical and I'm cheap didn't do anything. The SA at Tesla gave me the price and also suggest a black tape on top. Yours is at an angle so not so easy to disguise with black tape I guess.

And I have no idea when that happened, may be from the time I received it in April???

It looks like something snagged it, and in that case, probably wouldn’t be covered under warranty. Was it not noticeable with you new inspection?

Another reason to perform a thorough inspection on delivery day.
Delivery day is so pressure packed. Probably a good idea to have a neutral party (spouse) go with you to do the fine tooth comb inspection.
