iPhone overheating while charging

This is still an issue. How the heck are you supposed to know exactly where to place it so it doesn’t get hot when it just going to slide around after you take a corner.

I don’t see how a software update is going to fix the location of the chargers that get baked in the sun but Tesla can do magical things with over the air updates!

It has nothing to do with the location, the location! Excuse me now i gotta go get the papers, get the papers!

I was just coming to post for my 16PM.

Rightside up, same as before. Red hot and no charging. This is in a 3rd party MagSafe compatible case.

Haven't tried upside down.

Warm is good. If it's not warm, it's not charging!

Maybe Apple's newest phones fixed the problem.

So my new FS VIN 36xxx still has the problem with my Samusng Z Fold 5 (in case) and Wifes iPhone 12 pro max. Just got that swapped to a 16 recently so not sure if its a problem there. Still upsetting that its happening while this isn't an issue on the Model Y.
