Yesterday the nav unexpectedly rerouted my trip, probably due to that "save time" option.

When I came upon the Express Lane onramp, FSD was not taking it, so I put on the blinker to force it. It shut the blinker off! So I did it again, with the same result. Hmmph! I disengaged FSD and took the ramp, with the Express Lane delineated by flexible bollards:

Only then did I realize that the "save time" reroute was targeting a highway exit that could not be reached from the Express Lane, which explains why it refused to enter.

Oddly, it did not reroute after entering Express. As I approached the unreachable exit, it even put on the blinker to move over lol. Only after we passed this exit did it reroute. (It did not try to smash through the bollards hahahaha).

I discovered that I can usually force a lane change on FSD by holding the signal down. It also seems to speed up those occasionally agonizingly long changes.

Yeah, if I just click the turn signal then FSD will take it, unless it's decided otherwise lol
