Is this camera night view normal?

how much of that piece needs to be covered in tape? just a few inches under the camera?

Just do to the end of the bend.

LOL... That's actually what I was doing but standing there behind the truck trying to cut tape using a speed square for the angle, in the cold, it sure looked like it matched up when you are standing close looking down at it. However, it does NOT look right from a distance. I saw that when I took the picture, but it was getting dark and it's just temporary anyway.

Is this the aftermarket washer thingy from tesbros? I considered it at one point and then watched the install video. Seemed like a lot of work/risk for a pretty small benefit.
Would you do it again? Love it, hate it? Neither?

I'm pretty handy but chose to get a shop to do it. I love it. It's the one from clearvu. I just got the side squirters installed last week too, along with an extension cord to the frunk.

Cool. What do you think is a reasonable amount to pay for that?

About $1k. It's a lot of work, and they have to drill through the steel. If I was to do it again I would save some money and have them install the side squirters at the same time, but they didn't make the kit when I had it done. Maybe $1.5k for all ?

I’ve been cleaning the crap out of that camera with every solvent known to man. Now I realize it was all in vain.
