When I ordered it showed an April/May delivery date. Still no VIN. I’ve called Tesla twice and they insist they are 99% filling orders on time according to what they show on the order. I asked the guy yesterday “You mean to tell me that within 2 weeks I have a 99% chance of getting a VIN and my CT in the driveway? He said yes. As did the previous Tesla rep weeks ago. Has anyone had this kind of Harry Potter Wizardry Magic happen to them? ?

It might be possible. I was assigned a vin on May 2 and took delivery on May 6. I honestly didn’t expect my beast order until late this year.

Wow that’s exactly what he said. That delivery would be within days of the VIN assignment. I had not seen anyone on here have that happen. Thank you for sharing.

RN 11288XXX here, configured 2/29, expected delivery March-May... I lost hope until VIN appeared in app on 5/08. Apparently ETA to Tesla store is 5/19, and I could take delivery 5/20. So it can happen quick, and I'm in Pennsylvania, which hasn't seen too much action.

With Tesla's end of the 2 quarter next month, you will probably have one by then.

My delivery was Jan to March, I did not get my VIN until March 10 and my truck on March 19th, just before their quarter end. Don't lose hope, it will be worth the wait.

My config date was 12/11/23 with email estimate of Jan-Mar. Reps on phone told me I would get truck (Beast) within 4 months of config date. Finally got VIN May 9th (150 days later). I've been to local (Irvine-So Cal) Tesla twice in a week after VIN assignment. Found 5 trucks waiting for delivery. 3 were Beasts. Rep working there was totally cool went in the back and took a pic of the VINs to show me mine wasn't one of them. They were lower VINs in 8000 range. My Beast is 93XX. My last visit rep likely a manager told me expect 2-3 weeks before delivery after getting VIN. He said even though you got the VIN assigned your truck is likely sitting in Austin waiting to go on a hauler. So I anxiously wait some more.

My delivery was 10 days later than the estimated three month delivery window (January-March) I was given when I placed my order on Dec. 26, 2023. It was worth the wait, the Cybertruck is fantastic, zero problems beyond one small bulge on the plastic bumper trim that I've done nothing about. I think the bumper cover just needs to be repositioned and properly snapped into place but I'm having too much fun driving it to do anything about it!

Yeah, I hear that. My AWD has been perfect in every way, and I can't stop finding reasons to drive it. "Is that dogwood tree still blooming on the town green, honey? I'm just going to drive down there and check..." It IS a spaceship. I believe this truck is well suited to explore any planet that has gravity near to Earth strength.
