No VIN on my 1/17 order, and was Powershare qualified but still haven't been contacted by an installer. ?

CA SF zipcode, 49 days since config, still waiting for vin...

what's worse is that, based on everything I've read, I should be getting a vin soon. I probably checked the app for a total of 5 times in the first 30 days knowing I'm still weeks away from a vin, but now I just keep checking every 30 minutes....

This forum as a whole seems to be pretty quiet in terms of VIN assignments and posts celebrating delivery... kind of lame. Production is moving nicely, so i sure hope all those units are not simply going to "special" people who jumped the line of existing FS orders.

Based on the forum delivery sheet for the latest entries, order TO delivery is at 90 days. So, as a Jan 9 order, i fully expect a VIN on or before 3/26.

1/10, I don't expect a vin this month at all. Not with everything I dug up about production rate and such.

If they keep going out of order, but not out of order past Jan 10, we have a 20% chance of a vin assignment before April.

If they keep going out of order, with no restriction (thinking of the 2/20 cali order with a vin on 3/6), cut that in half.

If they stop the randomness and start going exactly in order, they will start back in early December in every state and go from there.

I want so badly to be wrong, and for all of us to get trucks when Tesla said we would (it was a delivery window, not a vin window). But only the luckiest of us will get our trucks on time.

By the way, looking at cybertruck.vin, we don't seem to be that far off of normal vin assignments at all. It may seem quieter here, but the numbers look about the same as the ones from a week ago did. Normally it takes 4 or 5 days to paint a picture of how many vins were assigned on a given day. 4 and 3 vins the last 2 days, will probably settle somewhere around 5-7.

By the looks of it, I'm still a month or more out on my Ohio delivery. Which is actually fine by me as I haven't sold my S yet, thanks to the used EV market taking a hit lately.

seems the open order list has grown larger then before (67 currently), either they are delivering slower or assigning vins faster .. right now now a ton of delivery dates reported tho

Either Texas isn’t getting much love for being a “focus” state OR the people in Texas that have received VIN or delivery are not sharing the data. ?
