CT is delicate for a truck in spots like tailgate, bed rails etc. Cheap plastic used way too much
I don't see anything delicate about it comparing it directly to my 2019 Silverado. ?‍♂ My Silverado plastics are plenty beat up.

The reason I bought the CT was because of how cheap and flimsy my R1T and Ford F150 were. Super happy with the CT and the fact that I don't care about where I park it because door dings are basically not happening.
All of the trucks have their pros and cons. I chose the CT b/c it's what I want.

Ha indo love my CT too. Don't get me started on the R1T. Pretty truck but not designed to take light work even.

He claimed there were a couple other 'supposed' hitch failures from normal use, not just the Whistlin Diesel video. Can anyone attest to that? I google it and find nothing but the Whistlin Diesel video. Are there actually any other cases, or is it just parroting?
Parroting. He's never liked Tesla as a brand. He only jumped on the Tesla "hype" because he's a POS Youtuber that wants and needs new content. As we all know, Cybertruck is the best marketing tool/hype/advert since Apple's 1984 ad for the McIntosh. Unless a person that genuinely doesn't even care about vehicles to know what a Cybertruck is, it still has a person feeling something - Awesome, Dumb, Idiotic, Unconventional, Rocketship, etc. That was the whole point with this new design, love it or hate it, it evokes some form of feeling.

But to create a YouTube video going out of his way just to say how terrible it is or that it's not a real truck or to use Whistlin Diesels' entertainment value as factual statement is absurd.

The amount of bias this person shows is insane. I’ll never watch another video of his as long as his bias leads his decision making. . Stopped watching a while ago once it was clear he suffers from TDS and EDS. (Trump Derangement Syndrome) and (Elon Derangement Syndrome).

I can be with you up to the point of the censorship.

I don’t mind his pros and cons really at all, but my issue is feeding into the machines take on ownership statements from a product you purchase reflecting at all on you personally or your business.

It’s a cliche take, but no one is honestly going to stop buying Nike shoes or Apple iPhones just because of their companies less than moral business decisions. Why is Tesla and specifically Elon held to a higher standard?

It’s rhetorical.. it’s obviously because he’s supporting the Conservative Party now. It is what it is.

This is true, he's got a pretty good hate on for Elon and has been open about it. iJustine reviewed the CT a few months ago and it was kinda funny, she had to comment about how she disagrees with Elon on just about everything but still liked the truck. There is so much social pressure on people in certain groups (of both political sides) to hate the other side. It's sad really. Where I live and who I associate with, that's almost non-existent. You run into a few Elon haters and probably a few more EV haters but most people just have objective conversations about products and don't care about politics. It's also amazing to me that a significant majority of people are still entirely clueless about EV's.
No Social Pressure on me ... I hate everyone!

I love my CT - do is wish the plastic was a bit harder = yes, do I wish the hitch could hold a Dirtbike on a Joe Hauler (like every other truck) = yes, do I think they could have designed a bit stronger hitch platform = probably yes but who knows. But none of this is a show stopper for me and like I said I love my truck.

Dont care about negative / hate / you tubers - everyone has to vote with their $'s for what they want to drive, I've made my choice, they can make theirs. I also DGAF about Elon's politics, he's brilliant, changing the world for the better and I believe he'll do so more in the future...
