Just got a VIN!

Hey everyone (else),

Just a friendly reminder that some of us are still out here in reservation trenches, clutching our order confirmations like it's the last roll of toilet paper in 2020.

Ordered my Cybertrucks on 2/15, with a couple of practically the Stone Age Cybertruck reservations (you know, before the window incident and everything).

Starting to suspect Elon earmarked my trucks for a personal Mars adventure. Maybe I should've placed a higher bid for the privilege?

Anyone else experiencing the joys of a super low RN and a perpetually chill VIN?

I ordered the night of 2019 release. RN11275… paid the $1000 for foundation series December 22nd. I’m in Georgia and just trying to patiently wait, but seeing stuff like how Logan Paul just gifted a cybertruck to his friend recently and all the deliveries skipping over me and the countless others cause we’re in the wrong state is getting annoying. Tesla could at least give some info to their advisors on rough estimates for a given state to start receiving deliveries or something…

Congratulations, that is awesome. I received my VIN March 10th (ordered 12/29) and took delivery in Upland 9 days later. This is the toughest part, however, it is worth the wait.

You will get a call to schedule delivery. I was so pumped when I got the call. The Upland team was awesome and I had a great delivery experience.

well now I must know, how long from receiving VIN to getting the call? I know it has barely been 24 hours for me, but as you said, this is the toughest part.
I might drive over into Fontana just to look for you ?
Lastly, are you doing any mods (tint/wrap) and if so, where? I have a tint guy but I haven’t decided if I’m going to wrap. I did see a sick gloss black wrap online that I did like very much.

I am either getting Upland or Riverside, but I think Upland is closer. I was able to provide insurance but not able to schedule delivery yet. From the very minimal research I’ve done, it looks like most San Diego deliveries happen about 7 days after VIN, and Upland/Riverside deliveries happen 9-12 days after VIN. I'm just so excited. I’ve seen 1 on the freeway, and 1 on the road & I’m hoping mine is the 3rd ?

It takes about 7-10 days from VIN to delivery. But I kept calling every 3 days to check when it was coming... their tracking was accurate, but it was end of the quarter, so, I thought they might be busy and called just to check. Turns out that the truck was already there, but they couldn't schedule me that day as I called in late that day, got scheduled for the next day.

AWD. The only thing the Beast had that I wanted was speed/acceleration. While that would be super fun every time, I opted not to in hopes that there will be a upgrade for the CT just like in other Teslas down the road.

It was 9 days. Crazy thing was the call was from an 888 number so I sent it to voicemail. When the transcript came up that it was Tesla, I couldn't call them back fast enough. Savanna at the location was fantastic. She even worked it out to get the delivery moved up from the next day to that afternoon.

I have see the black and it does look great. I did not wrap the truck as I like the stainless look. I did tint the windows (windshield and driver/passenger) at Acutint Pro in Upland. Sarkis is great and has done all my cars.

I second that. I’m in Georgia too. However, unlike you, I waited couple of days later to put down my $100. Therefore, I’ll be lucky to get an invite by the end of the year. No worries though. I’m driving my EQS SUV till then. I agree Tesla really need to start delivering the CT in order on when it was placed and NOT by state, how famous you are, or if you’re an influencer on social media. At the end of the day you and I and everyone else on this platform is what is keeping Tesla afloat.

I tried calling Upland this afternoon & after 3 failed attempts I gave up. Kept getting transferred to speak to an advisor only have it sent to a voicemail box that was full & hung up on me ?

That sucks. Now with the hold on deliveries, which hopefully won't be long, the wait is more agonizing.
