Just got VIN final payment question

Ordered in AL Dec 28th. I want to pay the whole amount with a certified check but I don’t see the option in payment. Do I need to call Tesla or would they delay the process if I don’t pay up front.

I paid on the day of delivery.

You can bring the cashiers check or lender’s check when you pick up the vehicle. They just want you to pay the down payment ahead of time (easiest through app ACH) if you’re going through a third party loan.

I recall Plaid was the only option to perform the ACH. Wasn’t as simple as entering routing and bank account number like a normal ACH.

They will make you pay the deposit portion electronically, my son used Plaid only minor app issues.
For delivery day just bring a check from your lending institution or if you are paying cash like you should just bring a cashiers check and they will happily take it. Hope you have a good delivery and get a great problem free truck Dec through now is a long wait, glad your patience is being rewarded.

They don’t “make you” pay the down payment electronically. It is an option, if your bank is compatible with Plaid. If not, you’ll have one or two checks at delivery and that is fine. I did it this way when I bought my Model 3. I had one check for down payment and one for the rest.

I'm going to bring cash, all $100s, and I'm going to bring enough to buy two of them although I'm just buying one. And I'm going to pull up in my RR with a trailer to take the CT in. -JK...let's not be dorks people.

Correct,USAA is not on Plaid,at least not in January when I bought my MYP. You can wire the funds however.
