I like the big area to stand on, the rail to steady yourself if you reach, and the tray area for "stuff". It gets plenty of use!

The ladder works. I have one that is all stainless steel folds flat and has 3 steps. But what I'm looking for is a handle that connects to the L track system to assist in climbing in and out of the truck bed. If I had a handle I wouldn't need the ladder as much.

Just use one of the L track cleats and put it towards the tailgate. I use it to pull myself up all the time.
