Last week, I heard from Cypress SC that v2 of light bar remains in development with potential Summer release date. Same design change by moving from adhesive attachment to bracket attachment, which would avoid any issue if your CT windshield requires replacement.

I'd be interested in getting a V2 if they actually do that. I prefer the way a mounted bar looks, but the functions they enable with the software are worth buying a new one again... Love my TSportline single bar, but would gladly upgrade to a Tesla V2 if this pans out

Intersecting as they have removed the ability to stretch brackets to the roof on newer models without changing the roof trip piece.

I wonder if it would use the roof rack mounts? And if that would prevent the use of roof rack or load bars in the top position.

I am, finally, picking up my Beast Light Bar next week and I intend to sell it if anyone here is interested. I live on Long Island, NY, which I think much better to pickup vs ship!

From another thread - Wes was at the X Takeover recently and was asked about the light bar mounting change. He stated that the mounting method has not changed. The pause was to retrain the techs on how to properly mount the light bar. It should take a couple of days as the bar must be weighted as the two-part adhesive cures.

Basically, it sounds like many service centers were not following the process after they switched to the two-part adhesive.

My install is schedule for later this month (still working with them on a date). We will see!

That’s good. I prefer the clean profile and integrated aesthetic as it was originally designed.
