My fix for the sentry battery drain issue was to use the option to disable sentry mode at home. I park in a garage. If you are parking outside you should probably leave sentry on so that will not be an option. Definitely disable the climate control. Leave it plugged with charging scheduled during the night if that is an option so it will be charged up to whatever limit you set when it gets low. Charging warms the battery.

My Cybertruck hasn't slept more then a few minutes since July/August, according to Tessie. Every time I check the Tessie app there's 0 or 1 minutes of sleep time in last 7 days. I have Sentry disabled at home and work. I'm wondering if this could be happening to you and related? The energy app in the truck, in the Park tab, shows mobile app usage draining the battery. I ended up uninstalling the Tesla and Tessie apps from my phone and watch, and then the energy app in the truck showed less mobile app drain, but Tessie still showed the truck wasn't going to sleep. The only think I didn't try was disabling Tessie polling, but if I did that I would have no way of knowing if the truck was sleeping.

I think Tessie is waking the truck every time it polls.
The Tesla app will tell you how long it has been sleeping.

With the 2024 software updates, my sentry mode uses about 8 ish kWhr per day. As I didn’t even know I’ve had sentry mode on for 6 months, and at a ludicrous 18¢ per kWhr in my area, I’ve spent about as much on wasted electricity consumption as I have on gas cost savings (I don’t drive a lot). Not sure what exactly sentry mode does per its vague description, but the $300 I’ve spent on it wasn’t well spent.

I wonder if turning off camera part of sentry mode will save energy. 9 kWhr per day is a lot of power for even a gaming PC to consume (although I suppose gamers sleep, which sentry doesn’t).
That's less than 400 watts, most gaming PCs use a lot more.

Yeah, leaving the vehicle plugged in may be an option to ensure the battery isn't drained, but it's not really the solution for "saving on gas" - what good is gas savings if your vehicle keeps "burning gas" while not being used even for days at a time ?
