We just installed our first pre-production kit on our test Cybertruck today and have been driving it around Las Vegas. The color here is Black Matte and works great with custom company logos, which we will be offering shortly. You can send us your design, and we can print it on your cover kit!

High speeds up to 88 miles per hour on the highway were no match for our kit, which holds up great. We could have tested faster speeds, but traffic is heavy on the weekends here.

We have joined up with Altitude Color in Las Vegas to make this kit more seamless looking and use fewer parts to make installation faster.

Do you think you could get access to a wind tunnel and test? That way you can test high speeds without being wreckless on highway. I’m very interested as to higher speeds . Not saying I plan to hit 100 all the time but in an ev it’s very easy to hit this speed just for a small rush haha.

You’re the first to recognize the inside meaning of our speed test! ?

Can you expand on this and how it will differ from the original sets and pieces I've seen you post on here?

Rounded edges will be tightened up significantly on most corners and eliminated in some places. Certain smaller sheets will be combined together to form larger panels resulting in fewer individual pieces.

We will also be creating a network of authorized installers so you can have your kit installed by professionals if you don't like or have time for D.I.Y. projects.

My god, I wish these were like $300 and I could change them out for St Patrick’s, Valentine’s Day etc. Let me know if you want to do some kind of marketing collab with someone who’s terrible at all types of marketing, sales, and photography XD

How is maintenance? Have you tested these with an automatic car wash? Or have you tested these with a standard electric pressure washer at home?

also how thick is the vinyl? How many mils?

Would the vinyl start looking peppered from driving down highway revealing the black magnet material behind?

I do like what your team is doing but definitely lots of unknowns as this is a new product to the game.

It's a 30 mil high energy magnetic sheet with vinyl (similar to automotive wrap vinyl) bonded to the outer surface. It's a pretty durable surface, but large rocks could cause trouble as with any wrap. The difference here is that you can replace pieces easily if worn or damaged.

I wouldn't recommend taking these through an automatic car wash, although an electric pressure washer at home shouldn't do any damage as long as you take care not to spray at a sharp enough angle that could blow off a panel. If a panel is lifted up along the edge when washing, they should easily flap back in place if only several inches from a corner.

How often do these need to be removed for cleaning both the Cybertruck and the panels themselves? I would love to give them a try but I'm not ready to give up my color PPF wrap just yet. Can I apply them over my PFF without damaging the PPF? Thank you.

Can you buy replacement panels in the event, hypothetically speaking, some fool keys a swastika in one or do you have to buy a full set?

In the spirit of everybody rebranding/re-badging their trucks, maybe I’ll have you print:

great to see a full kit installed! I’ve had two magnets on my tailgate for 9 months through a harsh NJ winter (coldest since 1988) and wicked storms. over 5,000 miles across all speeds and road conditions. magnets do what magnets do - stick. they don’t even move 1mm.

2nd on this. glad they are road testing, but occasionally drive over 80, and if there is a strong head or crosswind which there often is in most of the country you could see wind speeds of over 110 so a wind tunnel test to say 125mph would give a lot of peace of mind.

These were tested at over 90 MPH during a winter bomb cyclone with 60 MPH wind gusts. Here are the prototype panels we tested on that day. They never failed.

Prototype Bra.webp
That is encouraging, a wind tunnel test would be really nice or at some point someone like me will get impatient and do a video test with a leaf blower and my anemometer :)
